A couple of interesting facts for you :

  • UEFA get more tickets (26,600) than either of the clubs (25,000)
  • ticket prices range from £60 to £610

Remember these next time they are boasting about their efforts to make the sport more accessible ..........

£120(official member) my Jock mate has paid for Scotland opener against Germany in the Euro's.
Another cash cow for UEFA.

You do realise our own FA do something similar for the FA Cup and always have done, even before the days when you think football got ruined

I think it was 2014 or 15 that I got hospy tickets for the CLF and the price was something like 380Euros for the match alone. Supporters of the 2 teams turned up in hope of grabbing one off a tout and were giving dog's abuse to everyone walking along the designated hospy match entrance- can't say I blame them, luckily I hadn't a bleedin' clue what they were saying.

Thought I'd take a look at prices for the other finals just to get a comparison, the Europa league in Dublin is £128.82 (150 euros) down to £38.53 (45 euros) and for the conference league in Athens it's £107.02 (125 euros) down to £21.40 (25 euros), the UEFA super cup is a little more at 130 and 30 euros

When we beat Cardiff at Wembley in 2010 , the attendance was bigger than the Champions league final later that night which was played in Madrid .

I paid €960 ( plus extra) for the Euro Cup final ticket.
That was the admission for a lower level side seat even before England reached final.
Some folk on here complain about paying £25

Each club in the Cup Final get something like 25,000, don't they? You definitely get more for the playoffs.

Maybe you should have started beating the drum on your one man crusade to save football back in the 1970s or something?
I was still trying to get the hang of grammar school then.

It's nice that you continue to see me as some kind of Saviour. Quite Freudian, in fact.
