How many cocktails did you have last night? No comparison
You are delusional and not even on the same planet as Burns.....
In absolutely the right order. Hutchinson may have been a better comparison, both tall!! The players we saw were playing 2 divisions higherBurns is next after Green and Suddick for me.
Only for one season with the Pool, 70/71. The rest of the time was in Div II. Suddick had a few more months in Div I in the latter half of the 66/67 season. In absolutely the right order. Hutchinson may have been a better comparison, both tall!! The players we saw were playing 2 divisions higher
The last chapter will be on Chalk and CheeseAnd in chapter 2, hertfordseasider compares the similarities between Bill Bentley and Dominic Thompson!!!
Suddick, Green then Burns for me !Burns is next after Green and Suddick for me.
The only defender that is/was ever comparable to Bill “bite yer legs” Bentley is Franz Beckenbauer !!!!?And in chapter 2, hertfordseasider compares the similarities between Bill Bentley and Dominic Thompson!!!
Oh Micky Micky. Micky Micky Micky Micky Micky Burns. Lyrics were far simpler back on the day!
Even Rhianna could have remembered those lyrics!Oh Micky Micky. Micky Micky Micky Micky Micky Burns. Lyrics were far simpler back on the day!
go on then, when i played, i often played out on the wing and could cut in and score goals. Did it regularly back in the early/mid seventies. Suppose I can compare myself with Micky Burns then. Loads of similarities.I never said CJ was the better player, I just said there were similarities. CJ likes to cut in from the wing and shoot as Tricky Micky used to, Micky Burns scored loads of goals like that but he couldn't tackle a player for anything, CJ has really improved defensively. MB will always be one of my all time favourite Pool players he and Suddick were my absolute heroes. I also really like CJ too and he will be a player I will always remember fondly.
You could actually be....... Micky Burns!!go on then, when i played, i often played out on the wing and could cut in and score goals. Did it regularly back in the early/mid seventies. Suppose I can compare myself with Micky Burns then. Loads of similarities.
nah, he played on the right and i played on the left. Jeez, I've never been left wing. Leave that for a few others on the other side of the board. You could actually be....... Micky Burns!!
I was a left back, great position.nah, he played on the right and i played on the left. Jeez, I've never been left wing. Leave that for a few others on the other side of the board.

Last time we went there was when we were all boycotting, so I went to the pub and stayed in the pub as my way of solidarity as I couldn't go to Bloomfield Road, anyway it was a really dull 0-0 if I remember?See you there mate. And many happy returns.
Went to the Cambridge Blue which was a decent boozer to be fair. Don't remember much about the gameLast time we went there was when we were all boycotting, so I went to the pub and stayed in the pub as my way of solidarity as I couldn't go to Bloomfield Road, anyway it was a really dull 0-0 if I remember?

M urns also missed thousands of chances - he was often as frustrating as CJ or more doI never said CJ was the better player, I just said there were similarities. Left back in the dressing room was your best position - according to your best mate Neil and Simon says the same...I was a left back, great position.
