Championship bound or could he be someone we could go for (Should we sell Jerry)?

I see they are letting Oliver Norburn go as well who we were interested in last summer.

Posh list anyone going into the last year of a contract. Doesn’t automatically mean they go. Clarke-Harris will, however
 
Yeah could fit the bill for us, however he was out injured for a number of months a couple of years ago with a ACL injury I've been reading so may have to dodge that one.

Well yeah but you have to be realistic and why waste time and attract criticism by making derisory bids for a player who is getting offers from the Championship?

Yes agree.he’s a good player at this level and one who Critchley thought could do a job in the Championship for us so I’d be surprised if interest wasn’t renewed now we are in league 1.my point was out of the 2 Trybull is a step above.
 
Got absolutely slated by the Posh fans for a no show performance vs The Massive,probably out of our range anyway,but questionable attitude?.

More likely the fans being unreasonable by singling him out and overlooking the poor performance of the entire side, poor mental preparation and tactics, I'd imagine. I'd be on the case of Darren F.

Can you imagine we actually have fit alternatives and it’s not a Stewart/Bridcutt never coming back scenario ?

Critch suggested on his radio interview that we needed some experience in with players that have left (Maxi, Gaz goals, Stewart, Bridcutt)

I’d expect an over 30 years old CB, DM and maybe back up keeper to come in.
 
Imagine he'd be comfortably out of our price bracket. Good target man who's fairly mobile though as he proved when he ripped us apart on the last game of last season. More than good enough for L1 but perhaps needs to be in the right team at Championship level.

But people on here say we can't sign players until contracts run out at the end of June! I have told them to look on the BBC football transfer tab and they will see several deals have already been agreed. Pete Wild, the Barrow manager we were linked with, has already brought in two players.

I thought exactly the same thing when I saw the Norwich announcement for Barnes. He doesn't actually sign until 1st July but the deal is already done. He was on Burnleys released list, obviously still under contract to them until the end of June but there's nothing stopping us or anyone agreeing terms with players who are released.
 
He was shockingly bad in the 2nd leg of the play-off. I saw nothing, including work-rate. Anyone can have a bad game, but he showed no interest to even run the channels to relieve pressure.

Jerry is in a different league to him. Even on a bad day, he works his socks off.

JCH has plenty of goals in him certainly at L1 level which is where we are at. Totally different type of player to Yates. JCH is a big target man but he does have a bit of mobility. Jerry, well well we all know what he brings to the table. The two of them could easily play well together just like Jerry and Madine did except that JCH is more of a goal threat than Madine. Think JCH is well out of our price range but I really don't get why some of us are so dismissive of other teams players in particular strikers when we need to find a decent one.

Yes, I was more thinking about him replacing Jerry, as it looks like it will be a struggle to keep him. It’d be a different prospect entirely if he was playing alongside Jerry.
