Club Shop Closed...

One of the staff must have Covid you don't shut a business down because of rising cases just for two days you'd close indefinitely also the hotel is still open anyway what's the difference?

It's going to get a lot higher yet, it's mainly youngsters and those who have only had one jab. Hospital cases are rising pretty quickly but deaths very low.

I'm in isolation due to a bus and a train journey, don't know which one.🥴
I'm in isolation too.
What I've found out is that you need only turn on your app in 'enclosed public places' such as bars, cafe's etc as it's a 15 minute exposure that counts.

If you are contacted through the app there is no legal responsibility to isolate, only if they ring or text you by name.

I was unaware of this and was pinged working in a sterlile services department in an hospital ffs.....last Wednesday, pinged by the app, notified on Saturday by the app, pcr tested Saturday, negative result Sunday, LF test Sunday negative, PCR test Monday, negative, LF test Tuesday, negative.....rang them yesterday to explain (3rd time this week) the advice...stay at home til SUNDAY or you will be fined £1000
My family holiday starts tomorrow.....
The whole thing is a joke!!

There are still people questioning whether they need it or not. Still getting the "only a bad cold" comments.
There was one bloke on 5 live yesterday who said something like "They hadn't even started testing the vaccine before the pandemic. It's all been rushed."

Deaths seem to be around 1% of cases as a loose stat. If that is mirrored when cases hit 100k a day, then you can expect 100 deaths a day. I wouldn't think that link would be there much beyond 100k cases pd for obvious reasons.

I'm guessing the shop is closed because there are dozens of people who can't buy tickets online for whatever reason (eg you can't buy some disabled/concession tickets online), and they tend to go into the shop, queue up for ages, and take a long time to be actually sorted. Only needs one person to go in, and the whole shop staff are pinged. Having the shop closed maybe forces people to use the phone instead.

The online site refuses to sell me tickets for the Rangers game as it says STHs only, even though I've paid for season tickets. Can't get through on the phone, nobody at the ticket office. Seems there's no link between the online accounts and season tickets sold. Amateurish.

Same for me TTJ

Who's getting tested ? All the anti Vaxers that I see and read on Twitter/facebook are all like ' never getting the vaccine, never getting tested' ect,ect,ect.. so where are all the positive tests cases coming from ?? The people who have had the vaccine ?

It's mostly young unvaccinated as my partner is a tester and she says hardly any older people coming to see them.

I see people still saying they cannot buy a ticket for Rangers match , does anyone know whether it is for people who bought a season ticket for last season (4000) or for people who have paid for a season ticket for this coming season (7500)

I didn’t have a ST last season but got one this season and my online account shows me as a “Current Season Ticket Holder”. My ST seat was reserved for the Rangers game and I purchased it yesterday.

As already advised , log in , look at the box on the right which says hello xxxxx , click on box that says reserved ticket.

It certainly doesn’t…… I’ve had it for the last 10 days and so too now has my business partner and we have had both jabs. We have had to close our shop until tomorrow whilst we finish isolating and have the shop anti viral fogged

Went to club shop this afternoon and a Rangers fan was reading the shop closed sign. Said he had travelled all the way down from Glasgow today to try and blag a ticket with some made up Blackpool address as Rangers had only allocated 2 tickets to each of their supporters clubs. Hadn't the heart to tell him even if the shop had been open they were only selling to BFC sth's only

Glad you posted that, I was just about to drive down to your shop!
Hope you both get well soon.
🤞

My friend is double jabbed in her early 30s and has caught covid and is quite poorly with it at the moment. Lack of breath. Sickly and headachy very tired etc

I tested positive yesterday. I’m 39 and double jabbed. No taste or smell and head pressure like it’s a bad cold. Otherwise fine, hopefully the vaccination will do it’s job and I don’t get any worse. Ten day isolation for the three of us in the household now. Good job the sun is shining.
