Didn’t seem the worst team to me when we played them and yet look like they’re on a bad run. The new Carlisle investors will no doubt throw some money at them in January and I can’t see Reading being relegated .. a season where club and owner both go down?

New Manager bounce.
It will happen again when we face Burton on 26th.

Pity it didn’t happen when McCarthy was appointed.

Next 4 games they face Posh, Pompey and Bolton.
Can they do us a favour!

It was their cup final so they stepped up.

Bit like City in the old days used to give United a tough game at Maine Road, whilst fighting relegation. Everton too until recent seasons.

They’re doomed. Plus with the whole Pilley saga I don’t think it’ll be long before they down in the Conference again. Shame for the town, but they’ve never really backed the club in the way Pilley wanted.

Personally i think Fleetwood are a busted flush. I absolutely sure that the ownership and fansbase wouldnt want to see them drop into League Two . But lee Johnson plainly isnt getting a tune out of his players. He talked last week about players who dodnt fit into the group . And they would be moved on. Well maybe the players cant stand Johhson.. not say they have downed tools but they are shipping an awful lot of goals. Peterborough will take them apart. I dont see any way for Fleetwood escaping the drop. They have never been more than a couple of points away.

They sacked Scott Brown too early and Pilley is way too trigger happy. He deserved a bit more of a chance to get it right after last season. Now they are stuck because Johnson is not working out but to get rid of him without giving him a transfer window would be a bit stupid and cost them more money. Maybe there are 4 worse teams than them and that will save them.

Brown had more about him than Johnson. Smells a lot like relegation to me. They're now stuck with giving Johnson what funds they have in January or roll the dice again.

Conference North club who bought their way into the Football League simple as.
They were lower than that when Pilley bought the club.
North West Counties.
National League will be their level
