We’re still not relegated yet and there’s still a chance as Cardiff’s run in is horrible but…. We have no chance if we don’t play our best team and to our strengths. MM can’t see it. He won’t be sacked though.

I don’t think a single pool fan would would hold any ill feelings against Dobbie if we went down while he was in charge.

I was fully against the idea of Dobbie when Appleton was sacked but as many have pointed out, it can’t get any worse than this.

Absolutely agree that pool fans wouldn’t hold him responsible. But is it fair to put him in such a horrible situation, for his first job ?
Would love it to work but fear the worse .
 
It's too late now, they will keep him to the end of the season or until we are down and then get rid. They HAVE to have the next manager lined up to bring in as soon as MM is gone. A new manager is going to have to build a completely new team so being appointed in June is too late, it has to be ready to go now.

I would pot Mansford too and get someone fresh in, it hasn't worked.

I would promote a backroom member to lead the team like 9AM Monday.

I would then appoint a new perm. manager as soon as humanly possible (they must be a fair way down the line by now), let them observe from the stands, not get involved and in conjunction with Badlands make decisions for the future. Then at least June 1st you are not making a complete fresh start.

On Mansford. If the TG is going to take a back seat and the East less so, then I'm not sure 300+k for a CEO is viable in L1 with a revenue drop of 7m. Also 2 things have changed with SS, one is he's now UK based which at the very least makes communication with club staff and club partners easier and two, he has 4 years experience of running a FC.
 
Shocking selections, players lack motivation.

I don't know who it will be ... but I am sick of lazy past player associations.
 
The management have made poor decisions on everything this year from season tkts pricing to managers to signings etc etc !
…..They are never going to make a positive decision now
 
Sadler and Mansford have made a dogs dinner of all of this. Tried to scrape through by doing it all on the cheap and it has well and truly backfired.

I hated the bastards and didn't want to mention their names again but the Oyston's would have got dogs abuse for overseeing a season like this.

It's been nothing short of a ** disgrace and the Blackpool public have been expected to fork out 30 odd quid a game for the pleasure of it.

The BFC board should take a long, hard look at themselves. They have let the fans down this season in a big way.

Maybe Mansford is just doing what he's told? We badly need a football advisor who is really experiencing in the art of playing coaching and managing top level pro football, not these people who seem good on paper but haven't done anything of note. Someone like Thommo.

Moss, you were one of the people who put their heart and soul into getting rid of the vermin, you did over and above what most did, can I ask you what you now think, after all we went through to get the stains out, how do you feel about what has happened since Sadler and Mansford took over. I should have been overjoyed like everyone else seemed to be but I just couldn't get on the bandwagon like everyone else, I don't know why, probably 50 years of mismanagement of our famous club and the terrible state it was in once the vermin vacated the premises.

What are your thoughts at this moment?

Probably been a bit knee jerk tonight mate but after having spent the last 6 hours in the boozers of Preston I’m sick of the scummy fcukers singing about how shit our club is. We fought for what we have now but unfortunately the lazy shits who wear the shirt don’t seem to understand what we have gone through…… most of them seem to be stealing a living, I actually feel sorry for Simon in what he is trying to achieve in that he’s not getting the support from the clowns on the pitch

There seem to have been a catalogue of errors from the top though for some time and the team selection was yet again, totally wrong. We have been a mess for 18 months and recruitment has failed and managers have been gash, we have players who can win games but they never get picked, aren't you concerned Sadler has taken on more than he can chew?

Why are you still in Nobberland?? Get out of there!! 🙈

Got back about an hour ago mate 👍🏼 Not sure about the “catalogue of errors “ but agree some things aren’t right 👍🏼 My personal opinion after speaking to Simon, Brett and Ben face to face is that we have an honest group working for us but that they are making genuine mistakes as they are learning. We’re in good hands but they need to learn quickly or next season might turn out to be as poor as this one if they don’t take the fans concerns into consideration

Sorry Mosser but Ben Mansford has plenty of experience and shouldn’t be making basic errors, he’s Simons right hand man and CEO who Simon has to rely on and he’s fucked up badly this season!

Karl read this board so he could do the exact opposite of what he should have. Genuinely didn’t have a clue how to run a football club. Thoroughly enjoyed being terrible at it.
