My wife likes Stevie Nicks and they've announced she's playing in Manchester in July. No idea how you acquire tickets these days without going through one of those rip off agencies. Any advice?

Sorry but you'll be lucky to get tickets without a lot of hard work and going through an agency if the concert is popular.

Ticketmaster tickets go on sale Friday midday unless you have O2 mobile phone then you can get them earlier

No idea really but l doubt very much it will be less than £125- 150 by the time you’ve got on to Ticketmaster. The price of tickets to see the older type of bands / singers etc is absolutely criminal and unjustified. If you try for other venues in Europe say Germany you will definitely get them cheaper and combine it into a 2/3 day break. One things for sure the Germans won’t put up with being ripped off like we do and certainly won’t pay £8+ for a beer in the concert venue!

It didn't stop 4 east German lads coming to Manchester to see Depeche Mode at the AO arena. Plus they were guzzling pints down like it was their last day on earth!!!
NB: They kept stressing they were East German, saying everyone thinks Germany is united but there is still a divide in the country.

Coop have a presale starting tomorrow - I sighed up a while back for £1.
