Connor Ronan

I would love to see him back with us again, a talented midfielder and the type of player we needed to sign all last season
Wolves are reportedly willing to let him go in the summer.
Ronan spent the season on loan with St Mirren and scored eight goals and made five assists for them.

He finished the season by winning a string of awards, including Player of the Year.

Would be a decent signing IMO, one of those slightly risky ones but if it comes off. I say slightly risky purely because I think the Championship can be demanding and catches a few out. But a good player and worth a punt .

5ft 7in 😮 could do with him stretching a bit.
Anyway he’s just signed a 3 year deal at Hearts.

Would be well worth the 500k for me.

Appleton seems well connected in the game and think we could see a few decent signings, especially on loan.

If he's signed for Hearts then that was short lived. But nevertheless the type of creative player we need if it's considered that Carey still isn't ready..

He hasn’t, that’s some little tinker on Wikipedia…

I’d love us to sign him but can’t see it as hearts will be in Europe, at least for a few minutes…

Slightly overshadowed by KDH when he was here but both of them came in and were head and shoulders above every player in the squad.

Would be a good signing IMO, let's finally rectify our lack of creativity from midfield rather than Critchley talking about how it's an issue but never sorting it.

I was the only member of AVFTT to vote 'Ronan' on the 'if you could sign him or kdh' poll back in the day. Really enjoyed him. Lovely player. Creative, risk taking, imaginative.

*Insert generic 'why are we obsessed with former players???' response from someone sooner or later*

Always thought he was a very tidy player, reminded me of Barry Bannan.

Interesting that it seems to be a handful of Scottish Premiership sides that are after him, which is the level we moved Mitchell to because he struggled at Championship level. Looks like Ronan did ok last season for St. Mirren but if you look outside the top three in Scotland their squads are littered with English football league flops. Could tell you he's found his level up there.
