Corporate Yesterday - Great day great service

It was my 60th birthday yesterday and my wife and my mates arranged for us all to go in the corporate lounge for the pre-match meal and the game. I had a brilliant day.

I must commend Martin Booker and all the staff for their brilliant service all day. They arranged for my massive cake to be delivered, and even then wheeled it on their trolley to our car at the end to stop it getting broken. Totally above and beyond what would be expected.

Keith Southern was excellent, both in what he said, and how he happily posed for photos and found time to chat with everyone.

The food was excellent and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

It was interesting to get feedback from some of my mates who support other teams (e.g. City, Liverpool). who said that whilst the football was obviously a little less refined, they found the atmosphere better than at the Etihad or Anfield.

I still like my normal experience of pre-match Bovril etc, but it is nice to be spoilt every so often.

Finally a massive thanks to the team, and Dan Grimshaw for adding the icing to my birthday cake.

I've been in corporate a few times and it's always great service and I've not had a bad meal yet.......

I was 60 on the 19th December. 2 cans of guiness came my way. Well done your missus.
 
Great to see Keith as the half-time guest on Saturday, as Tony Parr said a real BFC legend. Loved how his son was milking the applause too. If he's half as good as his Dad at footy.....

Good wasn't it Mark? It was also very tasty too. Nearly all of it was edible. It was ordered via the cake shop on Whitegate drive, then picked up from the cottage bakeries near the Bloomfield brew house. I think it was actually done by "A Cake for You" on Central Drive
