Cant understand this let Robson go scenario. Few weeks ago we were singing his praises, saying how good he is and what a mistake Sunderland made letting him go.
What’s he done for anyone to sing his praises? One pass against Portsmouth and a goal against Leeds youth team?Cant understand this let Robson go scenario. Few weeks ago we were singing his praises, saying how good he is and what a mistake Sunderland made letting him go.

I certainly can and I agree to an extent but point to the moments where in those good games where he's set up or scored a goal?Robson had one poor game (amongst many good ones) and hasn’t played since. Many on here can only seem to remember the last 2-3 games
Like I said on Saturday we need cover at centre half. I am just glad the game tonight is off. Down to one for centre back, not good! There is no way he will go for a full back, we already have five on the books. Flying winger, goal scorer and centre half cover for me!
Good assessment.I think it's that he's not really moved on from looking 'promising' - that promise hasn't manifested itself in goals or assists. I think a lot of people, myself included thought 'he'll be great when he gets a proper midfielder next to him' - we brought in Dougall and he's not really looked any different.
I would keep an open mind on him tbh, I think he still could come good but he's not proven himself better than Ward, certainly not Dougall and to my mind Virtue either so there is a question mark over him.
He looks classier than Virtue but Virtue actually has a shot and influences games. Robson seems to mostly pass short and buzz about a lot, offloading it to the side and sometimes making daft tackles.
What frustrates is there is more there, it just doesn't show enough. I really liked him on first sight. He's one with something to prove I think. Virtue is the opposite. I thought he looked shite when I first saw him and he won me over.
Good shout. Recently made his comeback after 9 months out through injury. 22 yrs old speedy right-footed winger.Nathan Holland from West Ham?
Is the Scunny target Kevin Van Veen?Couple of irons in the fire. Someone from West Ham and someone from Scunny.
Got me, that’s for sure.I think Wizz was making a joke re West Ham and Scunny both being nicknamed The Irons.
Me tooGot me, that’s for sure.
Both players moving to Chicago, I'm told.I think Wizz was making a joke re West Ham and Scunny both being nicknamed The Irons.
I've forgotten what Andersons injury is, any idea.I agree there's lots to think about. Thorniley, Sarkic and Howe must be favourites to be released.
Not sure why Williams fell out of favour so quickly and I'm guessing he's one of the current Covid victims.
Sullay is the biggest disappointment and seems to be currently completely lacking in confidence. What has happened to his directness???
Robson is a good player and he's Dougall's back up and Virtue is Ward's.
I'm not an Anderson fan but sadly we don't need to worry about him for a while.
So I'd be satisfied with a goal-scoring speedy right footed winger and another striker to challenge Madine and Yates.
And me. Doh!Me too
It's a hamstring injury which has required surgery. I think I read he said he'd been troubled with it for a couple of years.I've forgotten what Andersons injury is, any idea.
W seem to have 2 or 3 with hamstring injuries, Thanks for the info. It's a hamstring injury which has required surgery. I think I read he said he'd been troubled with it for a couple of years.
He's an expert on irons although they're usually in the rough and not in any fires.I think Wizz was making a joke re West Ham and Scunny both being nicknamed The Irons.
A cricket score...hardly. They have a massive game against Fulham 4 days later so I doubt they will have a strong side out.Time to pull out a few of those pokers Neil and pray Ballard if fit for Saturday or it could be a cricket score.
