Critchley Out

He was winding me up last night, stood there with his ** IPad pulling a face and not understanding how his masterplan he learned at ‘Coach College’ wasn’t working!!🤬 I can almost hear his whining voice “ but, but I was always top of the class”
 
The tactics today were pathetic.
Wigan were there for the taking, so what do we do .... play it across the back time and again. It was awful to watch ....
I'm afraid it's not going to improve, should never have been appointed, but whilst I want him gone. It's not going to happen.

Huge incentive for Sadler to sack him.
 
If I were being reasonable I would say that we have an excellent home record and he is not Crappleton.

However I am sick of the inability to mount an attack away from home and there is no sign that our players know how to break down a defence. Critchley has learnt nothing and his rigid persistence with a safety first approach when his team can’t avoid cockups means we have gifted a load of average teams points without breaking sweat.

Probably a decent coach but a sh*t manager

Well then, we'll can already write next season off if Critchley is still In charge of the team.
Sadler needs to step up and admit he's got it wrong! Again!

I'm not sure he's even a decent coach. I bet the Villa and QPR players didn't think so.
Also there are more players here who have regressed as opposed to progressed under his coaching.

That’s a really good point.

We are forced fed that he’s a great coach, got all the badges etc etc, but the only success he’s really had was when he had a strong experienced No 2.
 
Iirc when Critchley first got appointed Sadler said he’s two seasons to get Blackpool promoted or he’s sacked.
This time round 4 year contract and no conditions, so looks like we are stuck with him.

you also said, i think less than two weeks ago, that we'd come fifth too! ;)
The first half on saturday was nothing short of disgraceful. And all down to Critchleys tactics. And this season has shown that when we go a goal down we are very unlikely to turn it round. And that is down to Critchley.

A new manager?
We've a good record when it comes to changing managers. Grayson, Appleton, McCarthy. Next.
Anyone with an ounce of common sense knows it's not good to keep changing the manager.
A fan of another club told me we 'deserved' McCarthy for all the stick the fans gave Appleton.

I am correct. You openly said on here that you were changing username from NAGM to Nazzer once boycott ended.
Previous game you went before NAPM was Middlebrough away in 2013 and now you giving up again after Wigan away.
Easy for you to give games a miss following a rough spell.
Change back to NAGM

Wrong username knobhead. Never been the new Middleborough.
Been the old Ayresome Park back in the day. Which was not nice.

Just wondering/dreaming if we did go on and get in to the Play Offs, win them and get promoted - what would those who want Critchley Out be thinking over summer? Seems to me, the last thing Critch actually needs is a promotion and then a struggling season in the Championship!

Big rebuild whatever happens, I know we do not like the tactics, but the players have made silly mistakes which have cost us and we would be far more heavily punished in the Championship.

Maybe Sadler could stop appointing absolutely useless, tactically inept, negative match killers.
His managerial appointment record reads like a Nobber on a windup.
Who next? Graham Westley?
Wouldn’t put it past him. And folk would still say “give him time.”

We would get battered with this squad similar to Rotherham this season.
Maybe even worse.

I know what I'd be thinking. Something along the lines of: 'Rejoice! We've actually achieved promotion - and not 'because' of Critchley, but 'inspite' of him! We now just need to look at 'getting rid', replace him with someone who actually knows how to manage - and the sky's the limit. Bring it on!'

As I say, something along those lines ...

Spot on. I’ve watched them since 1963 and believe me there have been some dark days. BUT NEVER have we continuously set up not to lose - we have always ( as any other business does) moves with the times. We are certainly not doing this now - it’s the same tactics/dross every game. Fall on your sword you 🤡
