Critchley Post Match Radio B/B

He loves his stats doesn't he! You can tell, even with the way we play, he is a stats man. Not sure it gives way to the most compelling football but if the stats at the end of the season are promotion, I'll take that.

I don’t want to put a downer on it but we’ve beaten 2 very poor teams away from home Shrewsbury shipped 3 at home last night against the mighty Exeter.
Granted in between a great point with 10 men against the league leaders.
I’m still not convinced our away form has suddenly turned beating 2 very weak teams Wigan and Derby will either make or break our play-off push.

It was only a matter of days ago that the Negative Nigel’s Mantra was “We always win against the better sides and lose to the shit ones”

Now all of a sudden we’ve only won recent Away games because the opposition was shit. (Well apart from Peterborough) 😂

Never mind @Jaffa_The_Hut one day we might just reach the lofty heights of Fleetwood and KFC Fylde… Maybe then you’ll feel the need to express the same level of positivity for BFC as you do our tin-pot neighbours 👍

Oh didums let’s pull the Fleetwood/Fylde rabbits out of the hat shall we when people don’t agree with me.

Childish reply as per usual must do better.

You certainly pull them old rabbits out of the hat whenever you want to put our fantastic club down. (Last week it was Women’s football that you used as the stick to beat it with).

9 from the last 12 points available on the road is a big upturn in form. I don't really care who it was against, earlier in the season we'd have struggled to get a shot on target against The Dog & Duck! Wins like last night will do the players confidence a world of good going into 2 massive games against Wigan & Derby.

The good is we’re building momentum at the right time. The bad is we are not playing consistently well enough to beat the better teams or even the better organized team like stevenage.

Yeah right ! Burton, Stevenage, Port Vale, Cheltenham, Cambridge and Orient. It’s the hope that kills; Wigan have been docked 8pts this season, and would otherwise have 55pts (only 3 behind Lincoln). This is a toughie, and may take some winning. If indeed we have some momentum, we will see if it can take us over this tricky hurdle.

Set up and tactics will need to be spot on. Can't piss about wasting forward balls or aimless passing around the back for no gain.

Yet we've took 4 points off Portsmouth,3 from Bolton, Peterborough, Stevenage and Barnsley(still 1 to play).
