This is the Critchley that managed QPR so successfully last season 🤡 SS should have maybe learnt his lesson on returning managers by now 😕

Critch is a stats man and he'll have looked at those stats and been quite pleased that we had so many positives.
That said, the 4 shots on target sadly tells it's own story.
 
I think he’ll probably do alright with us but Sadler really missed a trick for a ‘clean sweep’ to get someone who has never managed us in and start again along with all the other departures. A new guy gets the time and understand on that last performance that it’s a work in progress. We know that Critch is working to boring ‘control’ football.

If you’re happy watching that style of play fair enough I’m not I pay to watch attacking football and as I said on another thread I’d sooner we get beat by an odd goal now and then so long as we gave it 101% and it’s entertaining to watch.

Tuesday night was just so lacklustre hoofing it up to Lavery for over an hour the smallest man on the pitch great tactics.

Critchley struggles to break teams down who come and put 10 men behind the ball and most teams will come and do that this season at Bloomfield road so he needs to change his style of play plain and simple.

As for the idiot above mentioning PNEOnline- jesus god, get a ** life. Nobody gives a shit about any MB in truth.

The only thing I despair of is the Pied Piper mentality.

If you are insinuating I booed you need to think again.

We played shite and the team tactics and subs were all wrong.

The manager comes out and says everything was great then he is talking shite in my book.
 
Expressing opinion openly is a right to be cherished (I.e. before it gets slowly taken off us!).

Expressing opinion is not the same as being right.

It’s the second part above that often gets missed on here.

We played barely adequately against a team that surely must have had a rocket up them after a 7-0 pasting. It’s not pretty, but we ground out a point. The next step is to grind out 3 when we are not on form - that’s what separates the successful teams from the rest. 3 games in 5 points and no goals against. I’ve seen us start worse. This is a long season - I’ve said before I reserve judgement until mid-late November. Others can disagree - and that’s fine.

All my opinion of course.

You are deliberately undermining our manager after 3 games in which we are unbeaten
We will not play well in every game, we are not entitled to win
He is a good manager and you are playing a part in trying to get him removed

Depends on the type of defeat, the issue the other day that annoyed people was the lack of looking even like a side that remotely knew what it was doing, was unable to fashion a decent chance.

Not condoning some going ott but clearly there's a way people accept your side playing or even losing.

Ekpiteta inching forward and continually passing to the opposition and then us hoofing it long, despite no tall players there to get it, is not going to get fans onside, it was aimless and lazy.

The team need to stop taking the easy option and learn to play football through teams.

Critchley is lauded for his tactical masterclasses he can do, but as soon as we've been pressed like in the Exeter and Vale games, we have given up on passing for large parts of it, that's not good enough as we're just gifting the ball back to the opposition hoofing it all the times.

Maybe that's not what Critchley wants us to do, but it's up to him to get us to be able to pass through sides, I don't imagine Bolton have such an issue and give up from a bit of pressing.

OK 2nd half was much improved, but there's loads to get better at.

Critchley is a professional, you are not, believe it or not he probably doesn't care what you think of his tactics
Judge him on results (unbeaten so far) - getting out of this division is so important for the club - and you are doing your best to undermine him - what sort of 'supporter' are you?
