Critchley

Decent coach who helped us get promoted not that long ago. Better than most current league 1 managers. UTMP🍊

Since his reappointment I’ve spoken to about 5 people and they’ve all said Critchley? What do you think & I’ve just said I wouldn’t have had him back. 3 have agreed with me, 1 lukewarm & 1 not bothered. I doubt if any of these are on AVFTT. Just saying. I’ve not spoken to anyone in the flesh whose attitude is more than mmm we’ll see.

Some people are still hurt by the way he left and don’t want to give him opportunities to further his career, this is the reason some fans don’t want him back.

The reason everyone felt that way is because he was a bloody good manager for us and was building something special.

Some fans are struggling to get over him leaving whilst others have moved on and are looking forward to getting back on track. Either way, if you’re Simon Saddler, Critchley is the most rational choice of a man who will rebuild a squad capable of achieving the same feat as a couple of years ago.

5 people. Who all know you.. Hmm. Hardly a random, large sample, weighted opinion poll is it? !

You are probably right. We’ll see how it goes.
