Obviously the players read comments about themselves on AVFTT and I'm sure the negative stuff must have an effect on them, particularly when they're the current scapegoat.
You're a better player when feeling confident. CJ is a good example.
When your nervous you'll play safe, maybe pass backwards rather trying something more adventurous for example. We need them to take chances on the pitch.

Just an observation.

Not obvious.

Also if any of you lads are in touch with Tom Tryball, can you ask his wife if she fancies flying over and doing some one to one language work with me?

They would read this and many other websites which may be relevant to their careers ,performances and the opinions of the people who watch them . If they don't, then they can't have much interest in being a pro footballer.
If I were a pro footballer, I'd be interested in what the other professional coaches, professional physios, professional analysts and my team-mates think. Internet forums won't even register.

If they do read it then shape up and leave everything on the pitch each week. It’s a short career and do it right you can be set for life. Count your blessings and have fun because it can all end in a second.

WTF....I doubt 80% of Blackpool fans even know what AVFTT is, never mind actually reading it
Ask anybody under 35 about this site and they look at you with a blank expression.
More Knobbers read this site

This is the sites main demographic....We should be sponsored by Werther's Originals and Anusol

I wonder why you have answered my post. The reason being ,you do have an interest in what people think . So if you were actually playing the game at any level ,you would not have an interest in what the support thought of the way you played . I wonder why most players have twitter and facebook accounts.

They have social accounts because they have social lives, friends, and family. Just like anyone else.

Players are coached from a very early age on how to handle social media and criticism because it's so damaging.

Players probably do want to know what fans think of them, I'm not denying that, but that's a tiny part of where they will get their validation from.

This forum isn't important. At all.

Morning CJ.

Players won't care what people think about them, they will just think that we keep paying to go and watch them so who cares

They're young lads. They're all over it.
there's a big difference between twitter, facebook etc and something so specific as AVFTT.

What's the o/p trying to say? We've all got to keep our gobs shut unless we are only saying nice things about our players? Opinions about players have been going on since the game began. O/P is really a load of codswallop.
