Crocs at Football

I invested in some vans a few years ago and the label even said ‘tangerine’.

Edit: the shoe brand Vans, I meanс

Tbh, Crocs probably saved my life this year. We were on a small boat in Uganda looking at a big group of about 25 wallowing hippos on the bank of a very slow moving river channel. The outboard then clapped out and we found ourselves drifting inexorably towards the hippos, which were getting decidedly agitated and starting to go under. Just when I thought we'd had it the lad skippering the boat gave up trying to fire up the outboard and dug into tatty box, unearthing a knackered pair of crocs which he used to paddle us just out of reach. I've never been so glad to see this highly dubious example of fashion footwear 🦏🦏😬

Remember being behind a rather large bloke a few years ago at Barnsley on one of the coldest days of the year and he wore open toed flip flops with no socks. Half time he goes to wander back to the concourse and another rather large bloke stood right on his toe!
For the sake of younger viewers I won't reveal what he said!

Doubtful, unless you've retired a pair of Birkenstock sandals.
I wouldn't be seen dead in Sandals.... Crocs are in a different league...

I've climbed mountains in them, Abseiled waterfalls in them, conducted job interviews in them, showered in them, paddled in the sea, cycled, done my weekly shopping, worn them to Festivals, been on nights out in them...They literally work for every kind of holiday both UK and abroad.... They came into their own when I had an operation and Blackpool Vic... I honestly don't think that there's every been more versatile, ergonomic and downright funky footwear invented than Crocs...

Always envy the fact larger blokes have a bit of blubber to keep them warm. Noticed last night there was a hefty lad in the stands only wearing his t-shirt 🥶

That are extremely damaging to the environment.

Crocs save tourists from hungry hippos
🤣🤣🤣

They really are a great example of how people don't actually have their own taste, their taste is based on whatever the trend is.

I remember they were lauded as the ugliest shoes ever, with jokes like "wearing a condom gives you a 99.9% chance of avoiding an unwanted pregnancy, wearing crocs gives you a 100% chance" circulating the internet in the 2010s. Now they're fashionable and you see people wearing them all the time, it's mad how things like that can change.

I type this as I'm wearing a pair of crocs my missus got me. They're exclusively for the house though!

Arsenal fans not too happy 😁

Once the but of a joke, Crocs have taken an unexpected turn to fashionable in recent times with many celebs and those in the fashion world now wearing the famously comfortable footwear.

However there were probably not many thinking that a footballer would get on the Crocs train, but that's exactly what Arsenal's William Saliba has done. The 22-year-old surprised football fans last Friday with an announcement on Instagram confirming his partnership with the brand.
