Not bad considering it’s the reserves and this fixture is sandwiched between two European qualifying games. That’s the draw of the Gold Coast!Looking at the empty seats on the plan we need to start selling in the home stands quickly. A figure of 2000 has been mentioned on the Hibs site.
Hibs have zero affiliation with the ‘green half of Glasgow’, in fact they pretty much hate them (maybe not as much as the other ugly twin)knowing Hibs affiliation with the green half of Glasgow I hope they've not been reading recent reports about us and try winding some people up.
I can see Hibs travelling down in good numbers. Scotland are well into their Summer holidays so I'd say there will be plenty of them who are ready for a night away on the Gold Coast away from their screaming brats.
Morecambe charged £16 for a seat last night.4,241 (2k Hibs)
£15 is a bit steep for a friendly.

Correctomundo. Both clubs formed by Irish Immigrants, there are definite affiliations
Yes they share a common history but having lived in Scotland and been to Celtic v Hibs games I can assure there is no love in whatsoever, particularly from Hibs towards Celtic. Both clubs formed by Irish Immigrants, there are definite affiliations

Nothing like good customer serviceI'm paying £15 tomorrow on the train to pick my season ticket up. No trains on Saturday, so, due to the club not posting cards out, it will have cost me £35 extra to get my senior discount card.

Hibs are a fair bit older than Celtic and were formed by the Irish community living in Edinburgh for the Irish community and then some time later the Irish community in Glasgow followed suit and formed Celtic FC ( as did the Irish in Dundee forming Dundee Hibs now Dundee United), however, relations between the two clubs were never cordial from the outset. Over time the Hibs support diversified and came to draw its support not just from the Irish but from the dockers in Leith and drew its support from Leith and the East of the city on a more geographical basis rather than sectarain.
I think the big difference between the supporters are that Hibs fans seem to regard themselves as a Scottish club with a history of being founded by Irish immigrants, which is acknowledged in their name & colours, whereas a lot of Celtic fans regard the club as an Irish club playing in the Scottish league but represent Ireland, Celtic have a massive fan base all over Ireland.
Ask the Hibs fans when they come down, I’m sure they will be happy to explain their history and their relationship with the Old Firm clubs.

I can imagine the ticket office before the first game being crammed and would rather have the peace of mind that I have it in my wallet. Not posting cards out, why? Could you not just pick it up at the first home game you attend Wilf?
