Current favourite music.

Don't have personal favourites Dave, I just go with whatever takes me on the day.
I was decorating earlier in the week listening to Peter Gabriel 3 (melt)
Went out walking yesterday listening to PIL at the moment I've got Frank Sinatra on in the car👍🏻

I don't get this, I like (insert name here) and that's all you listen to.
As I've said on many other threads I love all kinds of music apart from a certain rap😏
I agree. For me it’s a mood thing. I either put a type of music on because of the mood I’m in, or to change the mood I’m in. There’s so much out there to enjoy.

My current playlist has a quite diverse mix including The Beatles, The Bad Shepherds, The Rolling Stones, The Uthanks, Rory Gallagher, Billy Fury, Tom Robinson to name but a few. Oh & Led Zep.

Big Mama Thornton I recommend if you like the blues.
Thank the Lord that someone else has heard of her!!
Voice like she's been eating a mixture of gravel and turpentine, and has been on 60 woodbines a day for the last 30 years.
Love drumming along with a lot of blues stuff, and this lady is right up there..!
(Hound Dog is amazing imho)

Red hot chilli peppers return to the dream canteen..their latest is pretty flipping good once you get into it👍….
Also been playing a lot of Ben folds five…👌🏻

Wizzer, I do vary, but currently love that record & song.

Since Wilko Johnson's death was announced I've been listening repeatedly to the album he made in 2014 with Roger Daltrey, "Going Back Home".

Music for a sushi restaurant - Harry Styles.

That will surprise a number of you, given my age, but I have a very varied taste where music is concerned.

I love music but generally don't have phases of gorging out on any particular artist. Last time I did that was when I went to see Divine Comedy so I caught up with a lot of their stuff. Usually more than happy to just have the radio on ,although if I've got a mountain of ironing to do will often put UK music, now 70's on and even leave it on when the ironing is done.

Did my Harry Styles phase over the Summer and moved on a bit now ☺️

My daughter has radio x on constanrly when working from home so that got me back listening to some early Verve and Richard Ashcroft sounds.

I have several playlists with masses of different bands and artists on so I pick one that suits my mood or craving and shuffle the songs so you never know what you’re going to get. I have a reggae one, jazz and soul, indie, prog metal, chill out, folk, 70’s, 80’s, a mix of all and the only one I have of an artist is Bowie.

Just completed my annual Floyd binge including all the early years boxsets. There's only so many versions of 'careful with that axe Eugene' that a person can listen to in one sitting though 🤣
Prior to that I've been mostly listening to Suede, Two Door Cinema Club, Public Service Broadcasting, Editors, Django Django and Ist Ist.

When I'm doing the ironing, yes guys & gals, I do all the ironing. MrsDP does all the hard work. 😉
I have mixed four EPs of my favourites.

Frank Sinatra, greatest hits.
Queen, Forever
Don Mclean, American Pie
Nilsson, The best of.
