As League One players, what would you give our current forwards?

Jordan Rhodes 8/10 - Most League One Clubs would want him
Kyle Joseph 6/10 - Not sure we've seen the potential, works hard but few rewards
Shane Lavery 5/10 - Average, injury prone
Kylian Kouassi 4/10- Unproved and I don't see him as this shining potential
Jake Beesley 3/10 - Don't rate him

I just can’t buy into the love in with Beesley.I personally think Critchley is persisting with him whenever possible because it was him who brought him in and he’s desperate for him to do well. He’s surely one of the easiest forwards to play against in the league.

Rhodes - 7 Out and out finisher so a lot of clubs would take him at this level.
Joseph - 6 Seems to be a striker who doesn't like to shoot but works hard and is direct so it does look like something might happen when he gets the ball. I'm hoping we haven't seen the best of him yet
Lavery - 4 Runs around and works hard but I never actually think he's going to score. He doesn't look dangerous to me
Kouassi - 3 Learning his trade, not good enough for a team wanting promotion
Beesley - 2 Hes just not a very good footballer is he. He tries I'll give him that and his finishing isn't too bad but again for a team wanting promotion, nah not for me.
All in all it's another area that needs attention. Strikers are obviously reliant on service though and they don't get a lot of that either.

Our Achilles heel this season is simple our forwards apart from Rhodes are simply not prolific goal scorers and we need to replace these forwards with more prolific goal scorers unfortunately they cost money and the big Question that you have to ask your self is Sadler prepared to invest money in to the side the club in general needs a over haul all together all through the team.

Think everyone is being a bit harsh on Beesley. Everytime he's gets match fit, the goals start & then an unlucky injury. Best partnership we had this season was Jake obviously learning from JR throughout Nov & early December. Bagged a few & a couple of assists.

Beesley 3 very generous.

With our strikers injury records, we needed to bring someone proven in during the January window but failed

Joseph seems stuck between wide man and forward, I don’t think we’ll get another season out of Rhodes but I didn’t think we’d get this one out of him to be fair. Lavery has stamina but no pace, he’s not stood out like we thought he would in league 1. I wrote Beesley off completely after the first few games but he’s had a decent run of form, particularly in the cup. Kouassi is a tank but needs to improve technically a massive amount if he wants to be more than a nuisance sub in the last ten minutes but he’s young so has time

I do think Beesley is technically decent but he strikes me as a player that needs a bit more time and space to show it.I think for a big gangly forward he has a decent touch with both head and feet and a bit of technique (think Peter Crouch type). He just rarely will get the time to chest bring it down and get some sort of shot away.

I want to see more of his headers.Him and Byers can get goals in the air if Coulson,Husband and Gabriel can get some good crosses over for them.Hamiltons crosses aren’t the right type of service they are too floaty or he pulls them back across the ground.
