I'm almost in tears.
Just dug out my Don McLean disc.
Listened to American Pie, then Vincent.
Vincent is the most beautiful song he sings, so full of feeling for the subject.
Think I'll play it again now.
Going through my CDs now. MrsDP wants me to 'downsize' and get rid of most.

ABBA x 3. Michael Buble x 2 Elton John. Neil Sedaka. Glenn Campbell. BeeGees.
Nillson. Simon & Garfunkel. Willie Nelson. Guy Mitchell. John Denver. Queen x 2.
Billy Joel x 2. Guy Mitchell. A 3 dusc sat of 'Crooners', never opened.
Quite a few never played.

Surely you can find space in your entire house for 20 cds!
If you enjoy them put your foot down and don't part with them.

Dont fret Listening to Vincent on my phone via Spotify. Plus every album he has made by the looks of it. i have eighty odd cds on display on my newish lounge book cases. i have cds some vinyl mostly bought at charity shops . my record player is on the same unit. . the strange thing is SPOTIFY will find you genres of similar music and auto find you something similar. FOLLOWED by Vincent is Get it On / t rex. 😬

Vincent is an absolute classic.

I just put it on again now because I haven't listened to it for ages and it was even better than I thought.

They don't make 'em like they used to Dave.

Don’t do it! How much space does a CD actually take up!

Also got LPs (Records), Frank Sinatra (lots of them).
Don McLean, Bread, Al Jolson, ABBA, My Fai Lady, In my opinion the best Musical Film ever.

Give Castles in the Air a play for me, Dav.
Nice to listen too when I'm on here and other sites.
Apparently Don McLean is doing another tour, unfortunately only The States and Hawaii. He is 78 y.o.
Went see him in Gateshead for my 77th B/day. 2012.
He was fantastic.
