True and he never sealed his own position in the side.Danny Void suffered from being two footed. That meant that McMahon used him in lots of different positions, which is why he got injured so much.
The 'ed' at the end of my 2nd 'foot' disappeared, how do I edit a post?!Comfortable with the ball with either foot, naturally two-foot footballers are few and far-between.
My memory may fail me, but the only two in a Tangerine shirt in my time have been Coidy and Alan Suddick!
As Englishmen go, Glenn Hoddle was superb with both feet and probably watched "The King of Bloomfield Road" from afar when he was a nipper!
Of many great goals I've seen over the years at Bloomfield Road, Coidy scored one of the best against Wigan about 20 years back.
Me and my lad (who's 30-odd now) were stood in the Scratching Shed and Danny took off on a mazy run beating about 4 or 5 Wigan players and rifled the ball into the top corner of the net at the old Kop End from about 30 yards out!
Majestic memories, anybody else remember that goal?
Wow, great find matemy memory's not so bad I suppose!
Great day for me, 29th September 2001. Watched this beaut, and met my missus shortly after. 20 year anniversary coming up. I might treat her to a soggy Tuesday night in Hull to celebrate!
