Thats who I'm thinking of Dave Drinkwater played for Wrens very good insde forward played against him a few times ?

Appleton has got it right so far with his recruiting alongside the much maligned BM and JS.
If he decides Drinkwster is ready to revive Legend status in the only team in football in tangerine and white, then that’s fine by me.
Older players know that their on the decline wage wise and often want to prove they’ve still got more ability than these cocky young kids. If DD is in that state of mind, then just like Uncle Richard last summer - we can give him that stage.
Signing for us certainly ain’t for the money as Div 1 teams will pay similar - so it’s about being at the right place to shine
