Yes he always put a shift inGood luck to the lad still only 30 and by far got more in his bank account than most posters on here always liked Nathan.
Won’t have made a bad livingalways seemed a little frightened of the rough stuff and looked better out wide where he was less bullied.
Pace, skill and technical ability but was great for a few games, then woeful for a few so lacked consistency which Is not a Critch player attribute.
I always thought he needed a sports psychologist to help him more than football coaching. He’s done ok in his career but should have been a top flight striker year in year out
Must be one of the few players to score in all four divisions (although unlike Brett, not for same team)He scored in the Premier League against us!
Club got him one in the last year he was with us. I know the guy who worked with him. More of a life coach mentor type than a proper psychologist tbh.always seemed a little frightened of the rough stuff and looked better out wide where he was less bullied.

Lovely lad by all accounts.
That’s a brilliant summary Chunky, fully agree. Lovely guy in community too, wife works on the children’s ward and always spoke warmly of him, others were just doing the job of community engagement, he really did care and would always leave last.always seemed a little frightened of the rough stuff and looked better out wide where he was less bullied.

nice summary. He's definitely in that type of player category - an enigma. For me, he had a good five or ten minutes in every match where he looked an exceptional talent. Problem is for the rest of the game he went missing or did very little. Before I loved Josh Bowler, I loved Sullay and before I loved Sullay, I loved the Fonz...
I love an enigma.
Some spam....
Oh, Nathan Delfouneso! - Goodbye to an enigma
No, thank you Nathan. The curious case of Nathan Delfouneso. 10 years ago our Nathan was hot property. Full of skill and trickery, gettin...mclfoot.blogspot.com
Kaikai is close too. Brad Potts. One the most inconsistent players ever to play for the Pool.
I'd take Kaikai over Fonz any-day.Kaikai is close too. Brad Potts.
He was talking about inconsistent players rather than who's better. Fonz actually has done it at this level to be fair. Not sure Kaikai has.I'd take Kaikai over Fonz any-day.
Okay Ill put it like this: I think Kaikai is a little less inconsistent than the Fonz.He was talking about inconsistent players rather than who's better. Fonz actually has done it at this level to be fair. Not sure Kaikai has.
100% do not agree at all.Okay Ill put it like this: I think Kaikai is a little less inconsistent than the Fonz.
