Derby sell out....UPDATE .611 extra tickets been made available

Derby's additional thousand tickets sold out in hours this morning , 3315 all allocated now. Couldn't we give them another 500 south east corner ?
Well its available to home fans so no, we might shift most of it, its a nothing game but last game of the season and a great ladt home performance so hopefully we fill the 3 sides.

I noticed only a few seats separating one of the world's fiercest rivalries between Liverpool and Utd the other night. Lancashire police deem it appropriate to cordon off two full blocks of seats, despite numerous police/stewards and an anti missile netting. The club must be quietly furious.

And then send away fans out past the North Stand. It's puzzling.

They need telling where to go.

Makes sense to give them another 500 and get a 14k+ crowd last game of season
Yes but not at our expense in the se corner, as I think well sell it, were still a while from the game and we tend to buy very late.

The north side is almost sold out and always does, this side only has this left for home fans.

Given the last home game performance and last game of the season to celebrate the season they should go.

Let's not take the piss out of them for being relegated either as they supported us with the oyston out campaign. Not the fans fault they have been shafted by the owners and EFL
It was a bit if a weird love in until they were taking the piss at their place once winning, so we did indeed sing going down.

They'll be respect but not stopping banter.

Hope we stuff them on their big day out.

I say lets take the piss, they would.

I hope we show them zero respect…

That pathetic singalong at their place was one of the most excruciatingly embarrassing episodes I’ve ever witnessed.

Well, there's respect for supporting us with the boycott.

Seem a decent fanbase compared to some.

But hope it doesn't turn completely cringey. Personally I can see a chant happening again, as it'll be too hard for some to resist....but I hope after the initial one we support the team and give them stick, as they will be changing shithole despite it being their big day out.

Me and our John were at Derby that night and couldn't believe how loud their whole crowd sounded when chanting "Oyston out."
(Just not quite as loud as Bloomfield Road sounds though.)

Stop messing around and give 'em the entire East at 4.6k. We gave them an additional 1.25k and they sold it out in 4 hours..

There is no animosity between our clubs, frankly its been nowt but positive between our sets of fans. They're not a club with notoriety like Birmingham and it's a dead rubber with us mid table and them relegated. Not much room for trouble at this game.

Bumper home crowd for last fixture at Bloomfield Road this season and a 4.6k following from Derby and we'd sign off the season with a lovely attendance.

The supporters trust and the other fan groups in attendance with the club representatives at there meetings, I think it be beneficial if they could possibly bring this subject up.

I think this could be the biggest crowd of the season. Cat a prices and feelgood factor from the last home game and the season.

Hopefully get something at Luton snd Barnsley to help it along too.

Its good but in a way a shame as pne should have been the biggest but for a farcical situation from Lancs police.

I'm not sure the decision to limit away tickets in the East will be down to policing etc. It may be more to do with facilities available. I'm speculating but even with 3k some have to use temp toilet facilities. It's something that really needs addressing in the summer, especially if it's going to be two or three years before anything can be done with the stand. We've now had three 14k crowds this season, soon to be four, and each one of them could've been 2k more than that. That'll be best part of £200k down the drain because the whole of the East isn't open/useable.

Entry to the ground is also an issue. Not enough turnstiles on Bloomfield Road for that many people.

They stood by us, Derby fans...

Fuck the EFL

Derby c fans stood by no one different altogether to your situation which was a disgraceful.
Derby have cheated for 4 or 5 years now taking the piss out of other fellow championship clubs by constantly appealing punishment from EFL for cheating . Wycombe sheff w both shouldn't have got relegated.Derby fans were complicit with there wrong doings & thought it was brilliant work by Mel Morris there owner.
They still kept spending 7 million for a player which they got from arsenal which they still owe them the 7 m.
They only got Rooney because there sponsor’s payed his wages of 90,000 a week because of a loop hole in EFL rules I think it’s closed now & selling the stadium for more than it’s worth to the owner another loop hole & this was all happening when fighting the EFL.over rule breaking & overspending.
Blackpool fans were the good guys but Derby fans thought it was funny taking the piss out of sheff w & Wycombe fans and the rest of the championship so good Riddance .

Good news (assuming we were unlikely to sell them ourselves), more revenue for the club, and the town's businesses

And if it's good natured, maybe Lancs Police will reduce the ridiculous segregation next season.
If the reduction in available seating is due to poor facilities, maybe this can be improved in the summer so that we can maximise crowds and revenues next season? The club must have lost significant amounts against Barnsley, Blackburn, Boro, Forest etc

I say lets take the piss, they would.
They were a disgrace to Keogh when we played at theirplace in Dec

As usual it’s the fans that sufferbut their fans don’t like Keogh and I don’t understand that

Club mismanagement and breaking the rules isn’t the fans fault as we know

I agree, last game of the season. If we’re losing they will still wind up the North. Could be messy.
Well if that is the case then we have no one else to blame when we have restrictions put in place.

Chant, sing, take the piss - no problem.

I suspect 4,000 pissed up and pissed off Derby Fans will represent more of an issue than Blackpool.

I’m not sure quite who gave anyone the impression that Derby are sone kind of anorak wearing Charlie’s . The Police were very nearly caught with their pants down at the Brum game.

Last home game after a brilliant season, cheap tickets, nice weather and we still can't sell out.

Just shows how hard a sell it is for the club in a holiday poorly paid town.

The game is a week away.

We are late buyers as a fanbase, I've seen it all season. The only game people really bought early was PNE.

This is a nothing game at cat a prices, its not some really cheap deal, but welcome all the same.

Sales looking pretty good for this far out, if we sell the remaining sections and have a decent hospitality amount we may have 11k or so home fans. The north side is full and only a few left in the corner, which will go.

I'd say that's pretty good for a game with nothing to play for and with people away and the town in full holiday mode.
