Did we need another fixture?

Delighted to still be in the draw but do we need another fixture?
Great to get a home fixture and more revenue but will it distract from the league programme?
On the other side, it seems many have given up on the league season and so could this keep the season alive?

Well funnily enough we have got one. All positive in my book…….a great draw away at a Premiership side in form. May do wonders for our away form going forward.
A home tie with extra revenue and the possibility of TV money & best of all….we are in the hat for the 4th round and the prospect of a big tie To dream of.

I think the important thing is as well it'll get a few disillusioned fans back through the turnstiles.
At £15 - you'd think the place will be rocking.

Depends on the 4th round draw.
If we got Man utd or Liverpool and it was stipulated previous booking history THIS season you'd have them queuing round the block=sell out.

Lucky to get 6k home fans midweek if we get someone shite.

Got to be realistic about the attendance though, last year for the FA cup 3rd round against Forest at home on a Saturday it was 8,750.

Barring Rhodes or Dembele all the players are interchangeable.

Another game won’t hurt our rotation system

It’s Blackpool in a 3rd round FA Cup replay against a Premier League side… does it matter on the opposition whether you attend or not??
It'll be a decent enough crowd, but he's right in that it won't overly exite the casuals, as they aren't a glamour prem side. Add in we played them last season.

They are better now and I hope people do go in their numbers, especially on a weeknight.

Let's hope it's priced well.

On the way down today I forecast we'd beat Forest, get Chelsea in Round 4 and show that lot down the road how to beat Prem sides.

It's happening.
