Digital season tickets

Just had an email from the club allowing me to download my season ticket to Google Wallet on my phone so that can now be used to access the ground.

It may cure my OCD of checking my actual wallet about 20 times before leaving the house to make sure I have my ST card in there.

Digital Season Tickets are now available for season ticket holders in the North Stand. Contactless tickets are easier and more secure and mean fans will no longer need to remember their physical season cards. Using NFC technology, supporters will be able to download and store their season ticket directly to their smartphone using Apple Wallet (for iPhone devices) or Google Pay (for Android devices.) Please note: season cards remain fully operational, however only one method of entry (card or digital) can be scanned and used for each specific game. How to Use The digital ticket can be used to enter Bloomfield Road by tapping your device on the contactless reader at the gate. ​

Hope they don't get rid of the cards would be tricky when you can't go and want to pass your ST on.

Mine works fine in the south, should you need to lend out your ticket just take a screenshot of it and send that.

Just done mine. Very easy to do, just click the link on the email, then press add, and it’s there.

Will still take my physical ticket to the next game just in case!!

Also says you can use either your card or your phone but only one method can be used per game. So if someone else is using your ticket (shame on you!!) they can still use the physical card.

Hopefully it will mean in the future they can load cup games onto your phone when you purchase. Rather than having to print at home with barcodes that don’t read at the turnstile, as I had against Forest!!

I hold 4 tickets - 1 for me and 3 for my sons. I've just been sent the download for my ticket and not my sons ones. Is this just for adult tickets?

Just checked my wallet again on android phone and thought it had disappeared but I have to click expired passes and it's in there.
