Which team do you think Company will play?
I'll say he'll stick out Burnley's U13 girls 😙
 
They've as good as won the league, 15 points ahead with 12 games to play. They only need 2 or 3 more wins to seal a return to the prem. If I was Company I'd put out my best team tonight to make sure of reaching the next round.
And if the Burnley scouting set up is any good they should know putting out the U13 girls team against us on Saturday would be more than capable of getting a result.
 
Here's hoping that tonight throws up a slight injury for the Burnley keeper - nothing bad, just enough to put him out for a week. Also, a red card for Rodriguez and a hamstring for Barnes.
 
Apologies if this has been asked and answered elsewhere but why are the 5th round ties midweek?

This is Fleetwood's finest FA cup moment (apart from the game at Bloomfield Road in 1980) and it should be played on a weekend.

World Cup fixture congestion and catch up, plus fitting around Champions League fixtures

The FA agreed a couple of years ago to play 5th round games midweek, so that Premier League games didn’t have to be rearranged. Also that there would be no replays from this point of the competition onwards..

I agree it’s crap for the likes of Fleetwood fans (who at least can get to Hillbillly Land fairly quickly) and for Grimsby with an away game at Southampton it’s far worse
 
If Burnley win tonight (which they will) it would be interesting if they got Blackburn in the next round. That would be good to watch. We made Blackburn look like Real Madrid last week but may be Blackburn are really good. They put Leicester to the sword ok.

An East Lancs QF would be very funny. Although maybe Lancs police wouldn’t see it that way..

But usually at this point, the draw rarely puts two two non-prem clubs together. But there is hope for them both, one of Grimsby or Southampton will be in the hat..

We didn't. I thought they looked a poor side, and we were even worse.

That one needs appealing foot was no where near head height and the Burnley player dipped his head in fact his boot came into contact with his chest but yet the Burnley player went down holding his head which was just embarrassing getting a fellow player sent off. 🤷‍♂️

Yet a Burnley player 5 minutes earlier did a deliberate handball and ref did nothing at all other than award a free kick.

Talk about double standards. 🤷‍♂️

Not unusual, the majority of refs bend over backwards?? for the so called bigger clubs. Thats why we get so many diabolical decisions against us.
 
This ref is shit.

Cods had a break on 70 minutes player deliberately pulled back by a Burnley player and ref doesn’t even award a yellow card.

Unbelievable standards just how much are Burnley playing this ref?
