Disgusted In Sadler

There's an obsession for me to reveal myself despite me saying in my OP I wasn't going to, I put my Tin Hat on when I posted the OP and it might be a bit ranty but it was plee for fans to not just accept the word of the owner and chairman and to ensure we use our leverage as fans to keep pushing the owner to do right by the club and its fans.
I know you. You are that bloke who cannot spell PLEA!😜

How did Pilley manage to get their training ground located and put up in a jiffy then? Why do we need to spend so much on a training ground too? We have been waiting for it forever and now it looks like it is going to take even more years if it happens at all.

I don't agree with all of the O/P or the way it was put, but there are some pertinent points there and those of you who just brush any criticism of Sadler & Mansford to one side are just sticking their fingers in their ears and singing "I'm not listening over and over again. The bullshit about how he saved our club by buying it, he was the only one, that's utter bollocks, the club would have sold if he hadn't bought it. He has done some good things but when you look at it we are staring league 1 in the face, few players left, no manager from the promising start, and we are just as far away from having a new training ground as we ever were. We have to have a new East Stand or we won\t have one at all, but a shiny new stand with a 5,000 capacity or more is going to sit there empty whilst we are in league 1. We should have invested in players and not signed such ridiculous managers but we haven't it's been a complete fuck up and if we carry on like this it won't be the Championship we will be aiming for it will be league 2. He has to up his game massively, just because he's the owner and a Pool fan, doesn't make him some super hero owner, he's made a lot of mistakes and he is continuing to do so, so we will have to see how things change this summer, see if he is learning.
Poolfoot and our plans are chalk and cheese.

Not comparable in any way.

Airship you say

1 . You are disgusted with Sadler
2. Fans should mandate BST to take action
3. Fans should not be passive

Well why don’t you organise something ?

You clearly feel strongly about it .

That will inevitably involve you revealing your identity but what’s the problem?

Are you on the run or is there another reason 🤔

Done my fair share of all that in the past, don't recall your username being so loud and vocal during those rallying times. I might be mistaken.

Jesus H, I know this is a wind up but can I just point out that although relegation to League 1 isn't great a) it may not happen and b) we just play in that league next year....like we have for a good chunk of the last 40 odd years. Namby Pamby 2020's, I hate em.

We now have an owner who cares deeply for this wonderful club and is committing huge sums of money. Mistakes have been made and it has not been perfect this season has been a nightmare but i think club will get it right in the long run. Success to me would be having an established championship side and a club which can produce their own young talent. Would love to have higher aspirations but our history shows how difficult this is and average attendances in a deprived area are not fantastic. I do believe Simon Sadler is committed and we can hope for better times. Grateful we have him as owner far better than the previous owners.
And had COVID to cope with.
He's not overstretching himself to bankruptcy.

I am not going to reveal my Identity but I will say that I played a pivotal part in the NAPM campaign and was unsuccessfully litigated against during the Oystons reign. Can someone please tell me why we are standing back and allowing our club to be run into the pits of the lower leagues again?

let's take some facts into account here, when OO took over he revealed plans for a new super stadium and training ground, those plans were false promises from a delusional man who had no intent. Fast forward to the present day and we find ourselves with an owner that whilst much more conservative in his plans has now announced that the training ground is being scrapped, this is a vital piece of the jigsaw for BFC. This is not good enough, managerial recruitment has been an utter shambles with the exception of the lucky procurement of Critchley. Squad investment is actually significantly less than a comparable period under the Oystons (2009/10 Championship seasons and 2011/12 Season). We waited far too long to stand up to owners last time that was ultimately judged on under-investment and false promises now it's starting all over again. How long do we as fans wait before we mandate BST to call an emergency to discuss the current owner and the false promises and lack of investment?

I have to say one thing stood out to me from the recent meeting minutes, despite the training ground being canceled, the lack of resources for the playing squad and the serious lack of funds for quality players to not only maintain championship status but be competitive, he still stated that he won't sell the club. Are we starting to see the whiff of another stubborn owner who won't look for investors for either partial or full ownership even if that is what is best for this club and us fans to help BFC achieve its highest achievable position?
Clown Sadler is our saviour say this in ten years

In 2018, because Squires Gate was not in any decent condition, pre-season training was at Fulwood Amateurs and Gary Bowyer had to pay for it himself and then try and claim it back. Anyone who suggests that the situation is worse than that should go and have a lie down in a dark room.

In four years we have had a promotion and two seasons in the Championship. We are not down yet either.

No one has the right to consider themselves established in this division. There are plenty of big clubs in League One.. No one wants to go down but that is the nature of sporting competiton. Last season Huddersfield were one bad refereeing decision away from forcing a draw in the play-off final. They sell a couple of players and things fall apart.

Overall, the criticism of Simon Sadler is bizarre. The man loves the club, has invested plenty of money already and I don't see many other Blackpool millionaires pushing him to sell - only a couple of demented keyboard warriors on this site.

Supporting Blackpool over nearly 60 years has always had its ups & downs. In Bristol last week I struggled to taste the post match beer and then on Tuesday the world is lot better place. I would encourage people to enjoy those moments and see how the club develops over the next few years rather than continually moan when things don't meet your expectations.
