Disinterest?

Still interested as are most of the people I know. I don't understand why people link a lack of interest to the division we are in, I'm in my 50s and we've probably spent most of my adult life in the third tier. I don't mind it in this division if we are playing with positive intent and going for the top 6.

It's football in general. Throw Critchley's tactics on top of that, you end up not even knowing our next fixture.

You are a miserable old ** tbf, 62.

Plenty of voice at the game today. Frustrating subs and throwing the lead away today, but I do think we're only one or two players and Critch letting the shackles off getting it right.

If you're not arsed, it's easy to switch off...

What is 62?

I think we are miles away from going on a run. Some fans seem to be pinning hopes on going on a good run. I guess it's the hope that keeps people interested...

Don’t know if it’s my age or my group of friends but my phone used to be buzzing at 5pm on a Saturday. Not had one text today. Even seems quiet on here and social media. Are we entering a period of League One mundanity which haunted us for so many years?
Totally agree.

I didn’t go today but didn’t even bother watching it on IPTV which is just not like me.

Style of football we play these days all down to a manager out of his depth.

Sadler seems to have sucked the joy out of the club. That's how I see it with consecutive poor managerial appointments and his belief everything is rosy. Of course that's just my opinion. I've got my season ticket but I'm just going out of habit. I really do not enjoy going.

Dont let the football get in the way of enjoying a day out at the football

I've found other things to do since the boycott & whilst I've continued to get a ST it still doesn't have the same importance as it did. So I get to as many games as I can & watch us on tv sometimes when we are away. It's an emotional thing supporting your team & I've seen every poor performance, scabby win & fantastic ones over the years. There are much more important things in life than how Blackpool do. But as pretty passionate supporters (the majority of us) it hurts when we lose.

Well don’t bother then

We are what we are — very average especially in the playing / player department

We had good support today, good numbers and the atmosphere between the fans was excellent

We even had a pop or two at Apple Tree and their fans were moredelighted with a point than us

Entertaining injury time would be how I could describe it

Really? Following football is 40% average, 40% a bit crap, 20% like the best highs from going out on clubbing benders from the 90s! I'm not quite sure why us drawing 2-2 at Charlton is Sadler's fault.

Couldn't go on Saturday and would have usually paid the tenner to watch on TTV but actually found more entertainment in the Bake Off (which in hindsight was the better choice!).

The meaning of disinterest is a strange one. In modern times disinterest is taken to mean unbiased - showing no favouritism one way or the other. Conversely, uninterest is used to mean a lack of interest, or indifference. I say strange because in past times (up until the turn of the C20th), these meanings were reversed.

Do people still text?
Plenty of chat in my Wattsapp group and fellow fans but then again I'm not some dour miserable get like a lot on here.👍

I think I’m a jinx I was working during the Wigan game the reading stream wouldn’t play and I just couldn’t be arsed with the Charlton game only started watching it when the mrs came up and told me we were winning half time then we proceeded to throw it away

Season ticket holder who has a mate's birthday in Manchester on Saturday - starts at 7pm and usually I'd go to the game, get home, get changed, drive to Manchester, book in to the hotel and then head out - instead have earned extra husband and friend points by giving my ticket to a mate - just not feeling it at the moment.

Yes sadly the same for me. It's dull to watch with Critchley. I was a season ticket holder until i moved to Spain. I can get all the games live on IPTV, didn't watch it on Saturday & turned off at half time v Derby☹️☹️

Has to be said we have on paper one if not the best squads in the league (albeit some players are not available). But NC has a lot to answer for, I predict he will not last the season, his selections and tactics are at best dull, if only he could play a basic 442 and let go and say to the players go for it, flying wingers, 2 up front and with full backs going forward, anyway back to reality it’s boring Critchley. Say what you want about Ollie but he gave us the best trip, not saying him again but come on if we cannot do well this year, it’s time for a change the Blackpool squad isn’t going to get any better if we stay in this league.

Genuinely though - is Critchley 2.0 football different to 1.0? Did he just inherit a better bunch first time around?

Think until we see what Joseph and Gabriel have to offer, it's hard to tell. Personally I'd say he has inherited a slightly better group of players. The difference last time was getting Emblazon and Simms in the Jan window.
