Does anyone else hope Ballard fails?

Nothing against him personally but I hate Millwall. Hope it goes tits up! Anywhere else and I would wish him well (apart from the Nobbers of course)
 
Why on earth would anyone want a young lad who played well for us and helped get us promoted want the lad to fail?

I'll be clapping the lad when his name is announced at Bloomfield rd when we play Millwall.

Loans works both ways
We got 31 great games off Ballard
Don’t forget he would of been isolated from his family while at Blackpool last season and he preformed brilliantly
He has said he needs to be at the next step of his development
Hopefully after this loan spell he will be pushing for the first team squad at arsenal
We all should wish him all the best
And give him a great reception next season

If he has an average season then arsenal will probably want to offload, perfect opportunity for us to sweep in at a bargain price at the end of the season 🙏
 
I hope he does great, but I can’t abide Millwall one bit. I respectfully disagree with those saying their fans are fantastic, I’ve always found they live up to their reputation in the main.
 
I wish we’d pulled out all the stops ! I hope we don’t regret it. I also hope he goes on to have a brilliant career 🍊 I’ll always be grateful for his help last season along with all the squad. 🧡⚽️😁👍
 
Hope he does well, for his sake.

If he doesn’t break into their 1st team then we can always try a sneaky bid in January? Unless the terms of the loan are for full season
 
No. A couple of own goals by Dan wouldn't go amiss when they play us. He'll probably be bench warming at Millwall, though
 
If he does brilliant then probably millwall will of done well and I don’t want that,I’d rather he did well but failed to stop millwall being relegated .I will give him a top reception when he plays us but I hope we win 5 nil .

Thats a fair point

Ballard is a bit of throw back defender league 1 and the championship is probably his level

The modern type of central defender has pace and is good on the ball

Ballard doesn't have those attributes
 
I don't like Millwall either... but I hope he continues to get better as he was with us. Just not when he plays against us, if he does.
