Dujon

My MOTM, and there were a few candidates. He is calmness personified, competitive and uses his strength well. Will be some player

Agreed. I actually think he’s our best defender behind Marv, everything you want in a defensive full back.

He’s struggled for game time because he hasn’t offered what Gabriel offers going forward, but last two games ive been really impressed.

Also important to note he was up against one of the most promising players in the division today in Keane Lewis-Potter.

Great loan signing.

Hi did play very well, a couple of times they thought they were in down that side and he accelerated past the winger like he was jogging. Personally I though Dougall was excellent too. No fuss, just antipation and quality protecting the defence and linking things up.

Yes, I was going to post about his acceleration back into defence. Also, a really good cross in attack during the first half.

Was my MOM today, not withstanding Grimshaw ultimately was the match winner. Think in the last two games he has been outstanding and will keep his place.

Does it show a different attitude compared to TJJ? Both have had time out of the side, of course TJJ hasn't featured for weeks and will definitely go back to Arsenal this week. Both young footballers touted for great things at their parent clubs. You can see why for Dujon and he has just got on with it and is happy to learn from a great coach, he will improve this season and he will be difficult to drop now too so waiting patiently and working hard pays off. TJJ on the other hand looked really skilful, had great touch but his body language was shocking and his commitment questionable. He looked half arsed and finds himself out of the team and heading back home. I still think TJJ will be one of those players with the talent but not the hunger and will flit around the bottom 2 leagues for the rest of his career, whereas you can see playing in the Chelsea first team and maybe even playing for England. Shame he will be going back at the end of the season, what a signing he would be.

Simms was the same last season and the lad from Liverpool, I can't even remember his name he was that forgettable will be like TJJ.

I thought Sterling was excellent today very strong in the challenge and quick on the break have to hand it to Bowler he dug him out a few times too just need a quality striker up top to nail those chances and we will have a strong second half to the season 🧡🍊

It was awesome to see him play as well as he did today no doubt. Keep it up Dujon.

TJJ, if he doesn’t change his outlook will in a few years be another Kaikai.

We have two good right back options, I'm wondering if critch will consider playing sterling at left back when Gabriel is back as he is too good to leave on the bench

Very solid but not good enough going forward for me
Can’t really function in a 3-5-2
That said today was one of his better performances
Agree he was OK but nothing special in my opinion. He’ll never make it at Chelsea as he’s technically not up to it. Not sure why people are raving about him, think Husband was comfortably better on the left flank.

Dougall and wintle were getting their foot in the whole game, nothing sexy just bread and butter breaking up play and laying off simple passes. A la Keith Southern.

Horses for courses, two good options means we have the ability to pick according to the opposition and also with form in mind. They both benefit from the other being in the squad.

Generally an e. Ellen’s match but just remember how many crosses came from his side in the last 15 mins - like the rest, everyone including Dijon stopped playing
