Been going on for years. PNE fans keep complaining and Deepdale is slowly crumbling around them but the Hemmings family and Risdale family won’t pay.
My brother in law is PNE and he says the club said they can’t afford it. Apparently the roof repairs needed will cost around £500k.
The ‘invincibles’ stand is still incomplete over a decade after opening. All stands need a lot of work apparently and the pitch is in need of full renovation.
All of these things cost serious money with zero returns. Selling cheap season tickets season after season isn’t even getting close to breaking even.
They’re a real basket case financially and surely it’s a matter of time before it catches up with them.
It’s >£70 million of debt I believe and losses of >£8 each season

One can only hope that their play off run falls apart, as promotion would sort out their debts.
They're a difficult team to beat, they've good strikers & their performances are fairly consistent.
