Just wondering...with the Eastbourne Cup game being on BT, and lockdown meaning I can't go out to a pub to see it, will it still be on iFollow?

ffs It’s only Blackpool not Man U...what a pathetic post from well....I’ll let others judge. Its elite sport thats allowed to continue, wether that makes any difference,I think it should be off. ffs Eastbourne.
Ignore him Kev, I can assure you he in no way represents the opinion of the majority of Pool fans. Obviously we hope to beat you with relative ease, but apart from that we wish you, your club and your volunteers nothing but the best for the future and I personally will return the compliment and look for your results.Ummm we didn't ask for "elite" status - in fact when I first heard that it had been thrust upon us, back in about June at an AGM that we couldn't attend, I think our chairman was up fixing some guttering and I was holding the bottom of the ladder. We are a small scale community club of volunteers.
But the FA Cup has always had non-League against League. Sorry that we're small and you'd never heard of us until last Monday night, but trust me we are busting for this game, really thrilled and proud that it's the Famous Blackpool and frustrated that we can't welcome (most of) you in person. You'll probably beat us - we might have a one in ten chance with a following wind (and actually it does blow quite a hoolie off the Channel). But we won't mind. We will spend the next season or two, or five, still talking about The Blackpool Game. Sad, I know, but that's what non-leaguers do. We will be looking up your results as you progress to the Fifth Round, not even envious, because we've had our little special day....
UTMP
And as it happens we've earned the right to get this far by playing three rounds, 270 minutes of football including a penalty shoot-out and a red card (never touched him, ref).
I do have Plusnet...there's a thought.Equally if you have plus net it’s £10 PCM with a minimum term of 1 month
it was done in our league {Eastbourne} on average attendance most get £30,000 a month including us but Maidstone Dulwich and a few other are getting more. About right really. Not sure about Dorking who we beat in an earlier roundKev I wish you and your club well. I am glad you will make money from this game.
I just wondered if you could help me on something. The Chairman of Maidstone FC has said that some of the National League Clubs sharing part of the 10 million pound bailout to clubs in level 5 and 6 will actually receive more money from the handout per month than they would take through the gate and bar. In the article, Dorking Wanderers from your league were cited an as example of this. Would you say you also fall into this category?
Oi, I was the OP. I hope you weren't referring to me you southern Jessie!First of all, great to have some chat with you all. Second of all, I probably reacted too soon to the OP - sorry. I do realise that he's not representative. You guys have, and deserve, a lot of respect right across the game, with all your ownership issues. All power to you. Clubs belong to fans. And in one of the oddities of sport, it's perfectly possible for fans to be on opposite sides but on the same side.
Enough of the Philosophy Football. We tuned up nicely on Saturday with a dire 2-1 win over feeble opponents on a wet miserable day. Just the semi-pro grind. Pure FA Cup sunshine on Sunday (actually I think the forecast is ok).
Eastie's ball-park figures are right. (Hi Eastie!) In National South we will receive a fair bit less than National League clubs, but then many of those are full-time with higher wage bills. Maidstone and Dulwich are anomalies - the grants are actually based on last season's gates and they are better supported than the rest of us. We are grateful for the grant, which virtually covers our monthly running costs but we won't be in surplus.. (It's not really for me to talk about specific wage budgets etc.) The stupid thing is that if they'd allow paying spectators in, we wouldn't need the grant.
Good luck against the Wigan. And thanks for all the positive words. If we're gonna get stuffed, we'd rather it were by nice people.
