Getting better and better
Same with Grettarson and Ballard, and while we are at it can we find a young Seamus Coleman who defends and crosses well and scores to bootI agree but, if I'm being picky, I just wish he could add goal-scoring to his skills.
Yes, our big lads need to be a threat at set pieces. Something that I’m sure NC is working on, but then we need consistency on the delivery.I agree but, if I'm being picky, I just wish he could add goal-scoring to his skills.
I agree, with half decent deliveries at 6’4” he should be competing with the best from corners etc.Yes, our big lads need to be a threat at set pieces. Something that I’m sure NC is working on, but then we need consistency on the delivery.
Eky's passing stats today with Ballards in brackets:He has all the attributes to be a top class player apart from one...his distribution when passing the ball forward is shockingly bad. That can be coached and if he can improve that area of his game he could go right up to the Premier League...he is a great signing
His hesitation can also be an anxiety but he’s doing wellHe has all the attributes to be a top class player apart from one...his distribution when passing the ball forward is shockingly bad. He's not a young kid, he's 26 in August!Yes and if it were up to a lot of people on this forum he'd be picking up a P45 by September instead of opposition centre forwards....he's a young kid making his way in the game and came from non-league recently which is who we sign, unfortunately we can't and won't sign ready made Franco Beresi's or Cannavaro's!!
No it really wasn’t.It was his mistake for the Hull goal today.
Correct I thought he was bang average today. It was his mistake for the Hull goal today.
I agree, except he’s not a “young kid” he’s 26 this year.Yes and if it were up to a lot of people on this forum he'd be picking up a P45 by September instead of opposition centre forwards....he's a young kid making his way in the game and came from non-league recently which is who we sign, unfortunately we can't and won't sign ready made Franco Beresi's or Cannavaro's!!
No it has to be Turtons fault. It was his mistake for the Hull goal today.
Rumour has it Turton told Maxwell tails never fails to be fair.No it has to be Turtons fault.
Turton even got the blame when Maxwell lost the toss and slated off the kit man that the kits were 'slightly' dirty.
And itll be Turtons fault if it rains tomorrow
Well it did☹Rumour has it Turton told Maxwell tails never fails to be fair.
I said on the match day thread at 2.27 I'd take a point in the circumstances ( no kemp, Anderson or Hamilton)I think it is strange that we are focusing on the negatives after getting a point away from home against a team I feel is nailed on for promotion.
Correct I thought he was bang average today.
If you want to be picky Dougal should have been tighter and not allowed their man to turn and split our defence with a great passNo it really wasn’t.
He got caught the wrong side of his man, but that was because we were moving forward, Kai Kai (I think) tried some stupid shit and lost the ball, Husbands out of position so gets torched by their winger and the ball comes across.
Marvs in a shitty position behind their man but still manages to use his physical skills and was determined to get that ball away. He did just enough to stop his man scoring. The ball drops in the area, just for Turton to watch it, pretend to run over to it and then still watch Wilks slam it home.
Not Marvs fault at all.
Fair enough - his youthful looks are no doubt to his advantage as the years go byI agree, except he’s not a “young kid” he’s 26 this year.
Like mine, I don’t look a day over 70.Fair enough - his youthful looks are no doubt to his advantage as the years go by
If it was anyone's fault it was Husband's for being in a poor position then failing to stop the cross. Marv half cleared it only for Turton to turn his back on the incoming player. No it has to be Turtons fault.
Turton even got the blame when Maxwell lost the toss and slated off the kit man that the kits were 'slightly' dirty.

Correct, great defender but i agree, Ballard and him just pass to each other...mostly.Most of his passes, about 90% seemed to be to Ballard today. His distribution isn’t always great but he needs to be a little braver
Totally agree @StevieBanksDiscoPants - both Husband and Kaikai can be shipped out if we're to progress whilst Turton has not done much wrong. Marv is our most improved player. The goal was Husband's fault, Marv has been excellent this season, come on leaps and bounds from the start of the season, for all the Turton criticism, I think it's harsh, we'd be worse off without him, there are players before him that aren't good enough, Husband is more of a liability, and KaiKai is on borrowed time, so frustrating !
If it happens again, go to the settings button bottom right, choose audio and then away.Watching it today for some reason my commentary changed somewhere in the first half from Brabin as the co-commentator to the home commentatot and whoever his co commentator was. They weren't particularly enamoured about how good Ekpiteta was.
