Enjoying the New Forum Format

Wasn't up for coming over from the old site but quite enjoying the new look and feel of this forum. More actual football chat too, thankfully, must have left the politicos and the O/T merchants back on the other side. 😉

It has improved in many ways but I much preferred the continuous thread on the old site. Having to scroll pages back and forth to follow the gist is a bit of a pain in my view.
Also I don't get why the forum itself isn't on the opening page rather than the latest posts which go to the top of the forum anyway and the personal profiles which no one is interested in.

It is a marked improvement and definitely left some of the tedious old issues behind. I wonder if someone has a guide to using this forum, the facilities and options available and also some of the features. Not sure I have totally got to grips with it (least I managed an Avatar!).

I'd like to edit the typos in my earlier post but I'm not sure how to!!....can anyone help please?

Under your post it says Report, Edit and Delete and so click on the edit button and change your text 👍

Thanks for replying but the only three options I appear to have are report like and reply!
Edit to add...I've found it!!
I hadn't realised that the three dots next to Report were a separate drop down menu.
Doh! Thanks once again.

Agree tango, would rather have one continuous page of threads instead of new posts and whats new. Not got my head round it all and no doubt never will but it is much better.

Knowing a bit about this - on the old site the reason it always slowed down was probably because of those long continuous messages which servers tend to struggle with - you'll find 99% of formats nowadays follow the page format.

P.S. I love this new format - had gone across to BHS but it's a bit of a wasteland over there and this is a much better format.
