Eurovision Song Contest Thread.

Finishes at Midnight….hopefully I”ll have at least 2 hours good sleep by then.
Haven’t watched it for years and will continue to do so but for those who enjoy it then I hope it lives up to your expectations

Turns out there is a song tonight called "Cha Cha Cha" 😅
 
Mrs just put it on for curiosity she said. I think she must want me to go to the pub, Jesus it's worse than I could have imagined.
 
We’ve got a big WhatsApp group watching this. As soon as the Cyprus lad came on stage all the gays in our group were voting for him before he sang 😂
 
I was impressed by Belgiums answer to Boy George.
I still think it’ll be Sweden and the Aussies second.
 
Sweden big with the jury vote, along with Italy and Israel, but what will the public vote do the end result?
 
I'm a recent convert to Eurovision as my missus treats it like the World Cup.

I've said though, if you don't have an exceptional song you need a gimmick. We fall into the trap every year of putting in a generic pop song that does fuck all. Last year we had a good song with a bloke with an amazing voice and we'd have won without the war in Ukraine influencing the public vote.

The girl this year couldn't sing live particularly well and we had a song that would slot right in on Radio 1 for a few weeks before everyone forgot about it. Never gonna do owt on Eurovision, as we've fell back into our usual formula unfortunately.
