I'm confused about how these amounts are arrived at. In the EFL it's an automatic 9 point deduction for overspending and going into administration. Everton overspent by £19 million according to FFP Rules yet it's only 6 points. Don't see the consistency. It equates to the penalty Reading received (I think) for not being able to pay their players one month. Is it just me or should the penalty have been more in line with the administration figure of £9 million?
