FA Cup Draw-ITV 2.30p.m

I'm Bromley born and bred. I'd worked out the odds for this before the draw. 158:1

I know Hayes Lane like the proverbial and my brother's grandson (my grand-nephew?) has played nearly every game for their 1st team this season. He's 19 this month and was in The National League's team of the month for September.

The other danger man is Michael Cheek who scores most of their goals- Not fast but a real fox in the box.
If Critch wants any other pointers feel free.😄
What's Mitchell Bergkamp, son of Dennis like?

I think the match away at Hartlepool was picked for oversea TV & played at 12.30 on the Saturday so that might happen again?

Of the 3 games that I’ve seen ‘The Ravens’ (Bromley’s proper nickname not Lilywhites!) play this season I would say that Mitchell Bergkamp is a bit light weight although shows good awareness, he’s not really their threat though or getting much game time atm. Ben Krauhaus has been playing really well and linking the Midfield with the strikers so he is one to watch. Bromley’s main man though is Michael Cheek who, at 32, is their version of Jordan Rhodes.

Wonder when the televised matches will be announced? There will be 4 live games, 2 on BBC and 2 on ITV. Looking down the fixtures I guess our game has to be a contender! TV companies love a non league team home to a league club in the first round and suppose we are one of the bigger fish with a FA cup history.

Usually announced today. There were five Rd1 matches last year: One Friday, one Saturday, two Sunday and one Monday; six the year before that and eight live games in 2020 - that might have been a Covid thing though.
