Fa cup draw

To anyone saying this is a crap draw, I get being slightly underwhelmed but really, it's not crap. Luton away is a crap draw. It depends what you're comparing against. I'd say at least 80% of the teams we could've drawn would've been worse. And we're at home which makes it fine in my book.
Yes. I agree. Boreham Wood away or Fleetwood away would be a crap draw.

A home draw with a sell out away following from the Premier League is a good draw.

Not the best, not the worst. They will bring about 3k. Tempted but train strikes planned that weekend. For me being coming from Sussex, it was either this or Hudds at home. Il probs choose Huddersfield

Will either side feature JB?
Bowler can't play for Forest because they loaned him out to Olympiakos. This means he has been registered for 3 different clubs so he can only play for 2 of them in one season. If and it is a big if he came back to us on loan it is highly unlikely Forest would allow him to play against his parent club.

This one will make TV.

Only 6/7 games that are tvgenic, inc Utd but with Forest heading down it will have media interest.

I'm reminded of 4-0 v WHU.

Think this could be a televised game, winnable game and possible FA Cup shock !!!
I’d be amazed if they chose this game to televise….it will be the top two clashes as the TV people see it City Chelsea , Man U Everton and then The Massive v The other Massive followed by a “ non league “ v someone much higher up the pyramid.
can’t see our game fitting the criteria of what the TV see as an interesting tie.

Oh for the heart-rending play-off days, when we wondered whether we'd done enough at home against these to get to Wembley

Spurs Pompy
Oxford Arsenal
Some non league minow

Blackpool will not be on telly

Man-up-sford could play poker on the Bowler option…
“Let him play for us. If you will, We’ll write off the second instalment. If we will, and Josh agrees, he stays at the seaside for the rest of the season, rent free. (JS will find a near match Renault)

There is no rule that a player cannot play against the parent club.

Go on Mansford, get creative

If he did sign for us it's a no win in some ways for JB. Allowed to play and it's a real kick in the teeth for the lad- may as well tell him he's not good enough to hurt them. Refused permission and Forest look stupid because they think he could hurt them and JB must be thinking, why f me around like this.

I should have stressed the 'if' more with a rolled eyes smiley.

Hopefully they put out the reserves as they won't be focusing on the cup, but its another draw against a club we've played loads over the years who could quite easily beat us. No intrigue to the fixture and we'll probably be knocked out, so shite draw IMO.

You want a minnow so an easy progression or a big club away, we get the former a fair bit but never the latter!
WBA was a similar draw and we managed a win

Absolutely no reason we can't beat them, especially if they field a weakened side.

My point is just that they could quite easily beat us on the day, and then we're out the cup after a fixture that has next to 0 attraction to it. As I said, at this stage you want someone you are going to beat easily, or if its a club above your station you want someone so above that it's a big club and we have a sell out at home or a big day out away!
