week after next. One rep per group.
Good work from the club.

What is the 5 year plan for the football club and what initiatives and developments can fans expect in that period?OK, you are allowed one question, and you can't ask about anything commercially confidential. What would your question be?
Surprised an AVFTT representative has never been invited to any of these forums!AVFTT should be represented to be fair.
Biggest support group of them all.

Maybe it is because no-one has pushed for it to happen? For instance there is a new page on facebook that is only a few months old, Tangerine Seasiders. It isn't a supporters group, just a facebook page. Yet they appear to have asked to be included and someone from the page was at the last Fans Forum. Fair play to them for doing it. Maybe that's what needs to happen if someone from AVFTT wants to go.Surprised an AVFTT representative has never been invited to any of these forums!

It is simply a facebook page someone set up. It states it is a " Media/news company · Personal blog"Who are they though? It's one thing to invite bodies that have elections, a constitution and identifiable officers. It's quite another to invite all these rag tag and bobtail groups who speak for no-one but themselves.
As for AVFTT, how would you propose we deal with it if the masses decide we want Lytham_FY8 and FedoraExplorer to go, and then there is an "I'm Spartacus" moment when twenty people claim they are one of them?
With AVFTT, I have no idea how it could be sorted. Other than contacting the SLO.
HA HA very true! That would be a horrible thing to do to poor Steve.

We'd just send 20's
MAC
I know you spoke in jest but I'm sure 20's would represent us very well.
Like you suggest, I think AVFTT should/could be represented but as Robbie pointed out there are obvious issues and even if they weren't any issues, the folk on here would soon find some.
I'd probably rather clean my eyeballs with a corkscrew than attend and others might be the same but perhaps if others do want to go, the names should go in a hat and those who can't be @rsed going have to live with the fact that those attending may be more concerned about certain issues.
Or perhaps an enthusiastic volunteer from the AVFTT community would be willing to ask all the questions put forward by those who are unwilling/unable to attend ?
I am beginning to chunner now especially as I don't give a feck, perhaps I should have just said that I liked your idea ?
20's - Get your best suit to the dry cleaners !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought it was Russ Abbot. There'd be no problem identifying Lytham_FY8 as he has his photo on his messages -- he looks a bit like George Orwell.
I don't think you meant to name-check me. I was busy being wee'd off with BST.1966. That's very kind of you but what we really need is someone from the Club doing those things and, to be fair, they are getting better at it.
My job is just being a fan with an independent view that can moan about the things that go wrong.
As for the forum itself, I used to go in days gone by, if the opportunity arose, but I'm not actually sold on the current format.
Oops sorry I've edited my post.I don't think you meant to name-check me. I was busy being wee'd off with BST.
I should have added, I see no reason why you couldn't or shouldn't represent us but, of course, you've now answered that one.Oops sorry I've edited my post.
Or maybe some of the invited reps post on here anyway?MAC

It happened (happens) at Leeds and at other Trusts-Derby being a good example where theirs is treated with disdain on their regular forum. On a serious note, I'm a 5 year paid up member of BST. I have had no direct communication from them in a long time and yet they like to dust down the "we are our membership" cliche whenever it suits them.
If the forum is the week after next, why no communication to ask what questions the members would like raised...or is it a private club for the benefit of the executive alone?
Joking aside 2020 I totally agree with you. I think he'd do a fantastic job as he has his finger on the pulse of opinion on here.
It's not for everyone but it does seem odd that we are not represented as an "entity" with our size and history when Facebook groups are.
Not my bag 2020.
There's so many people off here far more capable than I am of representing AVFTT and getting answers to questions.
If I had to pick my choice then I'd nominate TD53 who although I've had occasional run ins with commands my utmost respect when it comes to all matters BFC and is capable of expressing himself so much better than I can. You only have to read his posts and blogs to realise that.
So if he we were willing to go. I'd gladly put his name forward.
Or maybe some of the invited reps post on here anyway?
That name rings a bell. Are they a few of the old 606 forum, set up after that closed? I know they had a small forum page at one stage (not Facebook).Maybe it is because no-one has pushed for it to happen? Because of the format, I won't be going as it's limited to one rep per club. From previous experience, you're also limited to a couple of questions to ensure no one person/club hogs the limelight. I would imagine that most people would ask the same questions anyway, around expectations of the season, further movement on the transfer side, the impact of COVID on the club's finances (in a broad sense), on attendance and who will be allowed in if the gate is restricted?I'm sure that's the case Wiz but they are representing whoever they are representing and not AVFTT.
I just agreed with MAC regarding this board getting a space or spaces but it's no big deal.
Unless of course you are representing the Yorkies at the meeting and are also going to put a thread up on here for folk to post questions and you will be asking every single question and reporting back with all the answers, that's a very kind gesture

No problem, I wasn't taking it personally at all. The set up is one member per club via zoom with a couple of questions each.Wiz
Sorry, I was just rambling.
Saying that, I have no doubt that you would represent us very well.
I hear all you say and certainly wasn't seriously ridiculing you or the Yorkshire Seasiders - or whatever you are called.
People may mock at times but your group is an example of the good in football.
Fat Larry will be there presumably? No problem, I wasn't taking it personally at all. The set up is one member per club via zoom with a couple of questions each.
nobody will be going !!! It will be interactive online otherwise it will be breaking Gov guidelinesAs long as we get to know what was said re questions and answers, I'm not too bothered who goes. I'm sure the reps will do a fine job.
No, he was sacked and replaced by Critchley.Fat Larry will be there presumably?
The one thing about these sessions is they should be live. It shouldn't be a little private club where people are tied to say absolutely nothing about it until an official Q and A comes out.
Just allow the "reps" to attend but allow it to be aired and listened to by the masses.
Exactly my thoughtsWith everyone using Zoom, Teams and other live meeting and conference facilities, why don't they use one of those so other fans can watch and listen to the meeting ( but not directly contibute) as it is happening? I have been on a number of MS Teams NHS Board meetings that are viewable by the public
