Watched the damned united again last night. Great film.

Just wondered what it was like from your PoV and Leeds fans in general. It painted bremner and revie in a poor light, but these are heroes at Elland Road.

So is it seen as a load of b0llocks and clough was just too arrogant?

Also is it viewed as accurate?

Cheers

I agree with you, ghost, such a great film. If you can be bothered i think it’s worth googling the original clough and clough / revie interviews to see the difference between reality and film

Wholly inaccurate and seen as an insult indeed the Clough family put out a documentary at the time to counter some of the claims.I believe the book has been better received and Eddie Gray quite enjoyed both, but factually it was all over the place.

Just waiting for the film on the Oyston tenure at Blackpool-they should make one and call it 'Plea for Patience' 😁

I watched it too the other night. Good film. Was thinking of posting it on here to wind Plumbs up that Revie was an arrogant corrupt tosser and a lot of his players were a disgrace to their profession. There you go ,I've said it now. Bunch of thugs.
And Johnny Giles was nowhere near as tall as the guy who played him in the film.
