I was at that match as well 66Just an aside. The best full backs I've seen at Bloomfield Rd were Jimmy Armfield (many times) and Danny McGrain (once). I was in the Scratching shed for the 1983 charity game for the drowned police officers and dog owner. McGrain's speed of thought, movement and passing were amazing.
HAS to be the one and only Bill Bentley. Plus he bought me a Guinness in the Armfield after the QPR game last season. I was so emotional I could hardly drink it!We had Billy Billy Billy Billy Bentley hatchet man hatchet man. What a guy!
