Mrs likes these...won’t eat the real thing anymore so if we have sausage and mash ( or even an english breakfast) I have to cook them( and in fairness they’re not bad as are their cumberland‘s) and “proper” for me....waitrose( we fortunately have one in the “village”..Cheadle Hulme) gourmet Cumberland or old Gloucester are not bad.....and they are down on our menu for the week for next Thursday.Huddlestons in Windermere, Cumberland made as a link, we served them to our guests and I loved em hot, cold, main meal, breakfast, butties.
Now I'm veggie, Cauldron Vegetarian Lincolnshire style. We have even converted some of our carnivore family to them, just good food
Round to yours for dinner🍽I do a spicy Sausage stew with Chorizo, Black Pudding, and Three spice sausages from Asda. Plenty of beans, Tomato, onion, garlic, bell pepper, chili, ginger, and a mixture of spices. A touch of beer and stock, Delicious.
A simple smoked Haddock on a bed of spinach, a poached egg on top, and new potatoes as an accompaniment. Followed by freshly picked Rhubarb made into a crumble with custard tonight.

Never really been a fan of the sausage. I mean I'll eat them on a brekky or a BBQ but however you dress them up with pretence of "quality" they are still a bit sad and I'll swap them in a heartbeat for your bacon mmmmm Bacon...........
Not sausage based but Skipton is great & we’ve not yet introduced the dog who’s 2 in July to dog friendly Skipton due to Covid-19. Roll on June.Me and the Duchess were in Skipton today
