With the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III taking place on Saturday 6 May, the EFL can now confirm its schedule for the final round of 2022/23 divisional fixtures:

  • Sky Bet League One – Sunday 7 May 2023, kick-off 12.00pm
  • Sky Bet League Two – Monday 8 May 2023, kick-off 12.30pm (Bank Holiday)
  • Sky Bet Championship – Monday 8 May 2023, kick-off 3.00pm (Bank Holiday)
The confirmed schedule was approved by the EFL Board at its recent meeting and follows consultation with stakeholders.

All well and good if your employer is recognising it as a Bank Holiday but I’m not sure all are. I’m pretty certain mine won’t be anyway

We planned to go and stay over
The changes aren't great as either you now need to travel back in the BH traffic or take a day Tuesday work

Brilliant another work day, another match missed. I have a decision to make about whether to bother with a season ticket next year ☹️ not impressed 🤬

It was an away day moved due to a one every 50 years or so event… how come this is what makes you question your season ticket ? Genuine question btw.
This season I have had to miss far too many mid week games due to shift working. I know it's been a weird season due to the WC but it would probably have been cheaper for me to pay on the day rather than have a season ticket. Next season may be different (hopefully) but I'm not sure whether I can commit to a season ticket while I'm still working 😕

You will need to leave about 5am to get there in BH traffic for a 12:30 kick off as it's difficult to get there at the best of times!
