Fire at the top of the tower

Apparently theres no fire according to the police service..
It was just the orange netting flapping in the wind, (that they are using for renovation).

And they sent 6 fire engines!
 
Some bloke has put orange material up there to make it look like fire. Looked pretty realistic from the videos I have seen. What a goon.

1 You posted as if it really was a fire, it wasn't, you knew that fact when you posted
2 Even if you still thought the fire was real your post callously ignored the implications of it 'burning to the ground '
3 You surely must be aware that 'The Council ' don't run the tower operations, Merlin Entertainments do
4 Even knowing that, you are intimating a criminal action by 'The Council '
5 Your ire should be directed at whoever perpetrated the hoax, having cost the public purse a significant amount of money and took some emergency services away from genuine emergencies

My guess is that a light was shone at the "tangerine" netting, as we could clearly see (through binoculars) from our bedroom 2 miles away atcf, that there was a light/fire of some sort, we now know it wasnt fire, & it did look too uniform to be fire & there was no smoke..

Probably sounded a hoot before he did it, now, maybe not so much....
