Fireworks

Yep, last night wiped him out and he didn't want to get up til nearly 10 this morning. He also has a problem with the hoover but he follows it around trying to bite it and barking at it.
Literally the same as ours, she's dragged the hoover across the room before now while it's on.

I had a really scary experience, they are big and aggressive when they want to be. Didn't help the had calfes and I had my dog with me.
Just use the international word Shoo & perhaps Daisy Bell to make it more personal 😂 My Mrs tried to Shoo & bloody hedgehog out of our tent many moons ago, much to the amusement of those nearby, there were some smiles in the morning😂

yep, they've started again and it's a monday night! Is it because weather was so bad last night? The dogs going ape shit again.
You have a Jack like me. Same mate. Poor little thing just goes mental. My little girl takes her and buried her in a duvet holding her ears down. Sad to see them under such stress. We always go out on the car for a long drive for an hour or so to break the back of the evening but sadly we got home last night for some nearby neighbours having a mad one with the fireworks.

Nah. I couldn't give a fuck. My kids like the fireworks and the missus isn't arsed. Just the little dog goes doolally. Is what it is. It's only one night.
It's 7 consecutive nights so far. It's a real pain. I'd be happy to see public sales banned or restricted to silent fireworks

Crikey pal. Never take a dog through a field with cows with calves. The dog is the threat they perceive and they will go for it. People get trampled to death in that way. At least 4 in the past couple of years.

And if you get surprised, say by cows charging over the brow of a hill, let the dog go so it can run. It will get away and the cows should not attack you. But I would be over the nearest fence quite sharply, just in case.
