You’re right it did - but everyone ran out to side round to there end - we got caught up in the middle of them as they got chased back towards station .

I remember that one very well a Mike Davies worldie and getting pelted with coins at full time when Nobbers ran on the pitch. Also rocks being sent over when filing out at the back of the stand. I think that was the plastic pitch days which match their fans

Yeah I got hit in the face by a 10p at that one. “Who put the ball in the Preston net, Super Mikey Davies” got invented that day iirc

2008, 0-0 draw - this was the first season I was introduced to BFC. I want to the 3-1 home loss next season in 2008, and the 1 -1 home draw in 2009, I've never been to pne away. Never seen us beat them either. So I'm hoping tomorrow will be the first! Come on pool!

I've seen a 3-0 defeat at deepdale around 95-96, a 3-3 draw in 98ish at deepdale when we were in the pavillion terrace and the 0-0 home game the season they got promoted. Never seen us beat them in person, sadly.

The 2-1 defeat in Cup in 82. My memory has it that Andy Brockbank scored a cracking goal at right at the end. But just dug out a report of the game from the time that said 'he tapped home from close range'. Note from wikipedia that it was the only goal he ever scored for us

I wonder how many were at my first ; Pool 2-6 PNE. George Farm ( GK) got injured early the game. There were no subs in those days, but I can’t remember who went in goal, but he went up to CF, although he could hardly run. Tom Finney ran riot ! A day to forget.

Jackie Mudie went in goal and G Farm scored a goal although injured.

Went to dump dale probably late 80's only to find it was all ticket along with loads more, could have been a FL trophy game spent the next couple of hrs blocked in the carpark listening to the radio think we lost anyway.
Anyone remember this?
