Flash in the Pan or can we Build on This?

In 1966/7 we beat Newcastle 6-0 and fiunished bottom with what I vaguely recall was at that time a record low number of points.

Is this another flash in the pan or can we perform a miracle here. What do you all think?

As Herts says, we have to.
I thought we might kick on after the excellent performance against Burnley, but we followed it up with an awful performance at Bristol.

The difference this time is that we have another excellent opportunity at home.
If we can win Saturdays game (against better opposition), then I think we'll carry that belief into our away matches

Happy tonight though

It would be nice if we didn’t look like a broken League Two team away from home just to take the pressure off winning home games. Wishful thinking maybe.

We can build on it, IF the manager sets his team up as positively as he did tonight, and the players get on the front foot from the first whistle as they did tonight.
We need to try and get to 1/2 points behind Cardiff by the time we play them

I have read many of your posts on here ATG without commenting . You are even more of a pessimist, or realist as I like to say about me, than I am but this is an opportunity for some optimism ,who knows how long it may last but I want you to grab it while you can.

Nobody saw that result coming tonight, the players will go into Saturdays game revved up and full of confidence, so hopefully pans flashing and cooking on all four (6) rings! 🔥

If my memory serves me right we also beat Liverpool 3-1 at Anfield when they received the league trophy 🏆

The manner of this win will put smiles on the players’ faces for everyday at training from now until Saturday.

So if we can gain further momentum against Coventry, then we will be ready to challenge the Nobbers at their place. 🤞
