We've got some good improving young players. Lubala, Kemp and Sarkic all doing pretty well. Not seen much of Virtue. Bit shaky at the back, not surprising with Thorniley and Turton there.

Turned on edge of box wrong footed couple of defenders
 
Entertaining 1st half. I thought we edged it. But for some sloppy (as ever) final balls we could be well ahead.

You can see that all of our squad know the system.
 
Keep the press going and something will come. Suspect any of our much more confident first team strikers would have got at least one . These guys all need a goal
 
Our finishing is really poor. Another night this would be about 5-2 to us. They are really below average as a squad aren't they
 
Back to the old 433 and we’ve controlled the game, knocked the ball about with ease and even created a handful of guilt edge chances.

The same old problem though of not being able to score.
 
Playing well and a great pressing game, better than the '1st' team, I suppose it depends which players play as madine is less quick but a focal point but with quicker players the pressing game is even more effective.

Just the same story of missing handed and not being clinical, ita something we need to improve upon, we've not really scored a few in many games. 1 goal is a bit tight, thats one area to improve.
 
Comfortable without the cutting edge.
Keshi and Kemp having really good chances.
There should only be one team going through in this tie and that team are in blue
 
Blackpool by far the better side.
Quick incise passing. Pressing is good. Made plenty of chances.
The defence and keeper are about a 6 out of 10 so far but only to be expected.
Can't see this tempo being kept up by either side to be honest.
 
Kemp had the headed chance mid first half but commentators insisted twice it was Sarkic. They don’t look even slightly alike. Poor from them.
 
We've looked quite good when we can get a foot on the ball but our centre-halves aren't great so may well concede. Decent half by Lubala and Kemp is getting in some good positions. Virtue and Sarkic just finding their legs really. We 'look' the better footballing team but we have to go and win it now. Full-backs ok but Gabriel let a cross over just before half-time which was avoidable.

It's really confusing. I don't normally mind either but at least with Cissy, you get the beautiful turns of phrase and surreal imagery, this is just a bloke getting it wrong. He's literally just said 'Blackburn' as I type this.

They do when you’re watching I/follow on the lowest res to stop buffering - they’ve both got white square heads!
