Flying into Hong Kong

With just four deaths to date from the Corona virus, Hong Kong will be testing all incoming passengers at the airport who will then have to wait in a hall for some hours to learn the outcome from the test.
Imagine that at Heathrow, every incoming passenger being tested then having to wait three or four days for a result, the place would be swamped especially if 2 metres apart.

Hong Kong has been doing this for several weeks. Fortunately there’s a huge convention centre next to the airport. Mandatory 14 days home quarantine for *everyone* ... or quarantine centres for people from high-risk areas. Beggars belief that Britain was letting people swan straight in from Wuhan etc without even checking their temperatures

Used to love flying into Kaitak (Old HK Airport) with work; there's something quite special about sitting in your seat on a Cathay 747 and literally passing between the apartment buildings with people doing their washing up without looking up as a bloody huge plane passes by their window.
